Amazing sound for the size.
What's great gadget, once it's linked to your WiFi it does everything I want, it does away with any radio or alarm clock. Just ask it to play a radio station, what the time is, even meow like a cat and it does it! It's a little fiddly to set up, but once it's done it's very responsive. The sound quality on the echo is really good for its size loads of base and lounge enough for the large living room.

Ithe only thing I would like it to do is be cordless so I could take it with me around the house with me but that's probably going to be the next generation

Absolutely awesome!
I’m 100% Apple in my house, MAC books, iPhones, iPads, Apple Watch’s etc etc .. I wanted a smart speaker but didn’t want to fork out Apple silly prices. Thought I’d give the dot and echo a go... Wow!! The sound that they produce from such small devices, I am truley amazed. Safe to say I went back and bought more. 2 echo’s and 6 dots as bought a couple for presents. My 3 year old daughter now knows how to use Alexa, she asks her to read her bed time stories and play music. Very happy.

Echo absolutely amazing
I've had the echo for,but the echo is far superior,Only use it for streaming music and nothing else,so sound is most important, this ticks all the boxes and I'll be getting others

Excellent product, excellent sound amazing!
Bought this as a secondary unit as we already have the echo dot, the sound quality from this is far superior, we use it to set reminders, timers, alarms, radio and to control our Hue lights and it's amazing we love it!

Great Alexa
This is my second purchase of an Alexa Echo - they are brilliant and linked with Amazon Music can play anything you ask! Very useful and clever gadget. Everyone in our home enjoys it and the two can send announcements to one another in different rooms.

Great little gadget, especially as I've been subscribed to Prime for nearly a year and rarely used Amazon Music. The music side of it is good but it has other uses.

Alexa is the Bomb
The Amazon Alexa family if products are brilliant. The 2nd Gen products even better. I now have a pair of Echo 2 speakers and the sound is incredible. Paired in ajoining rooms the sound is as good as any sound system on the market but Alexa can do so much more.

It’s great just like the 1st generation only smaller. The only quibble I have is the charcoal is very dark I’d call it black

Brilliant
I bough this on a whim, and I'm so happy I did. I also bough the Echo Dot. They are a great gadget for the house. Even to the point where I want one in pretty much every room . Very easy to use and the possibilities are endless.

Alexa is brilliant
I am so pleased that I finally bought the echo. It is so easy to set up and use to choose radio stations, set alarms and ask questions. You can even get sports updates on your favourite team if you add it via settings. Ask for weather and news in your area. You don’t have to subscribe for any of this but if you want to ask for specific music you can from £3.99 a month with Amazon. Love this!
