I opted to try this rather than a countryman because of the price difference $100 compared to $300. Additionally, I'd had great success with a pair of Senal headphones in the past. So far the mic sounds great and quality is legit. One big difference between this and the countryman, is that you can replace the cord on a countryman, where as if something wears out on this, I think the whole thing has to be replaced. However, I tend to be pretty careful with my stuff. So, I'm glad to have saved the $200.
