Nice size, but a bit noisy
Obviously, I bought the mic to have one for those just can't hide it situations. Very small and works well with my Samson UM1 wireless mic set. The sound in general is ok. However, there is a persistent, low level white noise that does not edit out well. The quieter the session, the more noticeable the hiss. I haven't used it outdoors, but it may be suitable in that setting. Ironically, the cheap lav mic that came with my Samson sounds much better (it's just big).

Good inexpensive mic
I've used it with a Samson Concert 77 system for public speaking and live vocal and singing performances. Clear and pleasing sound quality, unobtrusive. The omni pickup is nice for more even response while the performer turns their head side to side; the trade off of course is picking up some sounds nearby vs. a cardioid lav or headset. Nice mic for the money.

very small mic head, decent sounding
This is a decent sounding mic for the price, but if you have the Samson Lav kit- you're already aware that these are not HiFi lav systems. For what you pay for though, they sound great and they take a fair beating. I use these for video interviews and they sound great.. a big plus is that the mics heads are really really small.

Nice size, average sound
I bought this mic as a smaller substitute for the big default mic that comes with the Samson UM1. The small size is great and it can be hidden just about anywhere. But, the audio is noticeably noisy (even in quiet, inside settings). Turns out the cheapo default mic has better audio quality.

low level hiss
just took it out of the package and the hiss is undeniably there. the clip that came with it doesn't allow the lav cable to fit in, and the cable itself is delicate so i'm not squashing it in. however, it's small and light and hides well.

Excellent Sound in a tiny tiny mike
This mike is being used for lecture speakers who move about the room. It is so small as to be almost invisible without the foam wind screen. Excellent sound pickup and reproduction. I'd recommend it with an A rating.

So far, so good
Good replacement for my previous Samson mic. it's tiny and the mic cord almost seems too delicate...we'll see. I'm not letting the talent mic themselves anymore. But for the price, I wanted to give it a try.

Sub standard audio quality
Voice reproduction on this microphone is not bad at all but there is an unacceptable noise level. The noise floor is at a level that is noticeable even when speaking normally with average gain.
