Not good
I bought three of these based on reviews and will not use them. High level of feedback compared to the Shure mics. Very difficult to plug into the transmitter.

WARNING-very fragile!
Yes, the sound is surprisingly good for the price although I still recommend putting the lead performers on Countryman if possible. More than good enough for spoken voice but a little short for singing performances. Users need to be very gentle with the cable, especially where it enters the TA4F connector. Our school had some of these cords fail at this spot after only about 10 uses. These were high school students and mics were being swapped bet... Show More

Skeptical but surprised.
I was super unsure about this mic at this process range. But I was surprised with the clarity performance. I am using them in a play and are working great.

Skeptical at first, but was proven wrong
At first I was a little skeptical of this headset, but we needed them for our high school performance and considering the cost comparison, I bought two. Come to find out, these headsets rock! Voices were clear and they saved our play. Well worth it.

Will keep using this headset, amazing price
We ordered the head set to replace a lavelier mic. We had a lot of problems with ringing and feedback. The headset eliminated these problems and is much much easier to control.

Will never buy the expensive Shure again
We have used these for the last 3-4 years and have been very well pleased. They may be less durable but at a fraction of the cost of the expensive Shure microphones they are a tremendous value

Great value.
I bought these for my theatre company because we couldn't afford the prohibitive cost of higher end mics such as Countryman or Sennheiser. These may not have quite the range or presence of those higher end mics, but were sturdy and well built, and at 1/5 the price, they are much easier to replace and afford.

PMEMS10 Microphone
First Sunday with new pastor on regular clip to collar microphone, people had hard time hearing him. Next Sunday with Headworn microphone and he was loud and clear. These mics are great.

Good for the price
Overall this is a good mic but it's a little longer than I was hoping for and doesn't have awesome clarity but good for the price.

OMG! Just Awesome!!!
OMG!!! these are awesome!!!Just received mine today and tested in our auditorium. Now, they are very very hot compared to the standard issue Shure lapel mics! so make sure to turn down the volume on the receiver to a very low setting, then fire up the transmitter, I did not turn the volume down and got extremely strong feedback :-). They cost less than $$so probably not as durable, and might not be good for recording solutions, but for conference... Show More

Exceeded My Expectations
I was a little skeptical for the price, but thought I'd give it a try. Could not be happier with the performance, can't go wrong for the price!

Headwarn Microphone
We use these low cost headworn microphones for vocal and spoken word. They provide very good support for both. If you are currently using lapels, replace them with these right now. You will be Very happy you did.If you are tired of buying replacement cables for your existing pricy headworn microphones, get one of these and try it. $.!!! Only downside is that they can be difficult to attach to the ear (depending on ear size) Eventually I can get it secure but with a little work.

Impressive performance for price
We ordered these to replace aging Countryman e6's, mostly because we needed a more cost effective solution. These tend to be a little hotter than the Countryman, though they are not as easily molded to the performer's face. We had a few that kinked when bent, so I would caution against bending them too much. They fit firmly over the ear and stay in pace nicely through a performance. The connector is molded, so you won't be able to do repairs if things get unhooked, but for the price, you can throw them away and buy 20 more (when compared to one e6).

Works great, and can't beat price.
If you are looking for an alternative to lapel mics for your Shure transmitter, these solved our problem of audio cutting out when speakers turned their heads away from the mic. Price can't be beat.

Wow... Cant beat it for the price...
Pros: not as expensive as an E6 Longer than a typical E6 sticks well to the speaker, doesn't move much, I still recommend using medical tape to hold in place behind the ear Not as susceptible to feedback when in close proximity to speakers as an E6 Cons: Does Not capture all the details that the E6 will The connector cable does not separate from mic- but if it break it just buy a few more. You can buy 8 of these for the price of a Countryman Cabl... Show More

Good mic at an amazing price
This mic was purchased for use in a regular worship setting. The pastor has a high-end Countryman mic of a similar style, but worship assistants were using lav mics clipped to their robes. Performance was inconsistent with the lav mics, but we didn't want to spend the extra money on additional Countryman mics unless we had to. This mic is performing as well as the Countryman. Sound is crisp and clear (spoken word and some singing), the mic is com... Show More

Good Mic for the Money
I didn't have high hopes for this mic, but we were willing to try it when our countrymen went out. we use it for public speaking and its been great. sound quality is good clear. it can distort if the presenter starts to shout. fits most ears well, have had a little trouble with people with little ears. I have read other reviews that said not to bend the shaft to much as it will snap the cable inside, so i haven't bent it much at all. bought it 09... Show More

Way better than you would think
First off, I think this is a GREAT mic for the money, but it still is no countryman E6. I would expect this quality from other mic's that cost more like $100. Used for a low budget theater production, the sound quality was actually way better than I expected, and the sound was easier to work with than a Shure mx153 (we have two of them). This picked up a singer with little/no EQ needed, I spent about 10 minutes EQing the signers with countryman. ... Show More
