Easy Setup, Great Value

Jan 23, 2014

Flexible, Easy to use, Great price and value. It does take a little bit of use (a few hours) to loosen up the track ball. But after that, it's great fluid movement.

Lifesaver product

Jan 16, 2014

Have gone through a couple of earlier versions of these and thought Kensington had discontinued the product. I was using the Orbit, which works but doesn't have the extra buttons and the 'feel' of the Pro. It's a lifesaver for those of us using these repetitive functions everyday.

This is *the* trackball to use!

Nov 11, 2013

When I first saw the original Kensington trackball in 1987 or so, I thought no way! Once I finally grew up and started using them (and I've tried others), I am addicted. If they didn't last so long, I would have bought many more of them by now, but as it is, I've probably only bought 6 or 7 over the years. It's the best out there!

Great tool

Oct 16, 2013

Just bought my 4th one. No problems with any. All but one still operational, two after many years of use. From time to time, you do need to clean the trackball bed, of any dust build up but it's easy since the trackball is easily removed and re-placed.With this trackball I can speedily navigate thru all my open windows, using multiple monitors(2-3)at a time.I have used other brands with smaller trackballs, and although they have served their purpo... great help for wrist fatigue

I spend 4-6 hours a day at the computer and have arthritis. This trackball really helps alleviate some of the pain/discomfort in the wrist area from mousing around during long periods. Having programmable buttons helps me to work quicker. This is a replacement for a worn out unit.

Reduces my arm pain and is faster

Aug 15, 2013

Ive used many trackballs and this is the best. I use them because a mouse will make my arm hurt a lot more than a trackball. The billiard ball sized trackball makes it easy and quick to navigate 3 monitors while still being precise and the button layout and scroll ring are placed well.If you have arm pain from a mouse, you should try a trackball, it takes a few days to get used to but i cant work without one now.

Kensington Expert Pro Mouse Trackball

Jun 25, 2013

This is my second Kensington Trackball. I had my first one for many years, and something went wrong with it. I ordered this one from B & H, and was very happy when it arrived quickly. I bought another brand Trackball, but just couldn't get used to the thumball. I spend a lot of time on the computer, and there's nothing like this trackball!

There are more high-end trackballs available, but they are pricey and the software is PC only. If you have a Mac and want to use a trackball, this is your baby.

Quite pleased

May 20, 2013

I've been using the old, discontinued, grey Kensington Turbo Mouse Pro, which was phenomenal, for a long, long time. Had to get a new one and am thrilled that one is an excellent replacement. The angle of the wrist pad, however, is not quite as perfect as my old one, but not too bad.

Works good, some things to consider.

Feb 25, 2013

Trackball works great I'm pretty happy with my purchase but there are some downfalls. 1. The slide ring is not very smooth 2. I have to open the Trackball preferences for my custom settings to go into effect when I unplug my Trackball or turn my computer off. Pretty annoying. 3. I wish there were a horizontal scroll option. Overall work good but wish I knew these things before purchasing.

Good, though software is a drawback

Feb 13, 2013

It's only been a week or so using the Expert Pro, and I don't think that's enough time to see if my RSI symptoms return. However, since switching from the Apple Magic Mouse and basic MS mouse I've found: Positives: -I like that I'm encouraged to keep my wrist steady with the Expert Pro, whereas on a regular mouse I tend to pivot from the wrist (read: bad) -I like the use of 4+2 programmable buttons, which keeps me bouncing less between keyboard a... 4-Button USB Expert Pro Mouse Trackball

Dec 11, 2012

Much prefer the trackball to the mouse. I use an iMac with a 27 screen and the trackball allows me to zip the cursor across the screen quickly with a minimum of effort. Also, the Kensington trackball has four programable buttons which I use to bring up my email or stock portfolio or a preferred application with a simple click of one of the four buttons. Trackball doesn't need cleaning as often as a mouse and when required, is simple to clean.

Reasonably well thought out

Oct 14, 2012

In a perfect world, Kensington might have made the buttons smaller and located them above (behind) the ball to keep hand and finger movements less busy. Kensington does solve some of this by allowing the user to choose the 'click' functions of all 4 buttons however. For those of you who notice and take exception to the slight ball drag I experianced at first, something seems to permanently break in or polish within several minutes and the ball rolls effortlessly from then on with a nice glide characteristic. All in all, a reasonably well thought out trackball.
