not as expected
i got this screen to use for editing and color grading monitor. calibrated to REC 709 using Dreamcolor calibration solution and connected using HDMI cable. but the red channel saturation is over the limit and not accurate. im not sure if i need an SDI to HDMI converter and dont want to spend more money just to test. im trying to contact HP and seems they don't have enough support Staff , live chat always off and no answer for my email. seems this screen going to sit on my disk as the most expensive computer screen i ever got :( never buy this monitor, its worthless and not pro at all.

HDLink signal not supported on this monitor
HdLink not supported when trying to convert the signal from YUV to RGB,. HP said this monitor can support YUV signal, but the colors looks bad and not accurate when receiving YUV signal from Blackmagicdesign card ver HDMI or SDI to HDMI mini converter and as i said, HDLink sending no signal over DP, trying to ask BM support but they said, ask HP and HP support send me to ask BM. sadly i will be moving this monitor to be a computer monitor and get Eizo or something else.

Awesome monitor if you're using the DisplayPort
This is a great monitor for color accurate video work - as long as you are using the DisplayPort. Detail and color looks great. I tested the HDMI and it looked horrible - details were strangle over-sharpened, missing contrast etc. etc. HDMI is not usable if you're trying to get a pleasing or color accurate image. Great product for the price!

Answer for above reviewer
Don't use HDMI....you should be using Displayport because it is 10bit and use a quality videocard to run it...ie Quadro card that outputs 10bit.
