Surely one of the best portable stands - almost 100% metal!
I've owned or used a few other folding music stands and they all suffer from the same problem: plastic used on critical parts. Granted, I got over 10 years out of my ProLine stand, but in the end it was a stupid little plastic cam lever that broke and now makes the stand no longer portable (I keep that one standing at home). Light and sturdy
The perforated plate is made of a softer thin metal sheet, and bends easily (hence -one star). It is, however, just as easy to straighten out without any tools, and it is very light. The tripod is very reliable, and with a proper attachment can easily be turned into a small and very portable mike stand.
