If you can bear spending this much money for a set of earpads, don't worry, it will be worth it. For so long, the stock earpads on the SONY MDR-7506 headphones that I love have slowly disintegrated, pair after pair. Look at it this way; four sets of stock pads that only last for maybe a couple years if you're lucky will pay for these GREAT quality ear pads. They are so easy in fact that it seemed like they installed themselves! If you own an MDR-7506, you know how VERY DIFFICULT it is to change your pads. No so here. It was almost too easy. I just ordered another pair for my backup pair of SONY's. I highly recommend these earpads. I expect them to last for years with the quality material and workmanship. These are a beautiful pair of earpads. The thump of the SONY bass even gets better with these since the isolation is so good. LOVE my Dekoni's.Show Less
