Flexible communication
Working with a variety of mics and combinations of wireless handheld, lavs, and cabled, enable me to use this wireless handheld where and how I need it. Easy switching of the channels, easy access to the switches, and quick and easy connection to the mic itself, makes this wireless transmitter a 2 thumbs up for me. Only Con is that it's a bit bulky.

Works well with my dual channel receiver
This xmtr works as well as my other wireless Azden xmtrs. Useful because it can be used with a multiple selection of hand mics. I have used this with my shotgun mic on a fishpole boom and the xmtr connected at the end of the pole's cable. This is ideal when it is inconvenient to use XLR cables. I find that the biggest problem is the weight. It is better to use a self contained cordless mic as they are lighter. I feel comfortable to recommend this device.

Xmitter ideal for person-on-street
We produce commercial and personal video projects for clients. The Azden 35XT is a great addition to our Azden body pack wireless two-channel kit. Now, we don't have to wire casual subjects with body packs, which are more suited to interviews with client talent. A handheld wireless mic feeding the same freqs as our other mics makes it easy to switch into person-on-the-street mode at weddings, parties, and other functions.

Not just for obvious handheld mic uses!
This device has enabled me to use my sennheiser rifle mic remotely using the same receiver equipment as I use for other microphone situations which is brilliant.
