I haven't used this product extensively yet, but the three shoots I have had it on it has performed as advertised. I even pushed the envelope and transmitted almost 175 - 200ft from the camera and received without a crackle. This weekend I have a huge shoot that will really test it's durability. I have no reason to believe it will not get the job done.

Don't bother
I have a professional Audio Technica lavalier mic and assumed this unit would be similar quality - NOT. I expected some compromise, but the unit was all together completely useless. The lavalier mic fell out of the clip repeatedly, and the flimsy plastic clip broke completely after a few tries. The sound quality over wireless was scratchy and unacceptable - even for amateur/home use.

Returned it cause it won't do the job
I bought this to do interviews at Comic Con. It works, but not good enough to guarantee the footage I shoot would be usable. First issue is mic. It's plastic and cheap feeling (no big deal cause this is a cheap product,) but because of that, you pick up tons of cord noise and other finger touching noise alone the stem of the mic and cord. Works well. No worries.
Fir some years now, I have had one set of this transmotter/receiver pair. This purchase was for a second set. It has always given me reliable service, with no interference noted from other users of those same frequencies. For an inexpensive VHF FM wireless set, it is an excellent buy. I use rechargeable 9V batteries that save money on replacements.

Solid Product
We used these for commercial production at my previous employer and I was so impressed with the sound I went out and got 2 for myself. They sound great, you won't be disapointed.

Works as advertised
I have not used this product other than to test it for functionality. Depending on RF interference factors in the area where it is to be used will determine whether or not ths FM-band will be enough or I should move over to a UHF product. Budgetary constraints dictated I get this product. Exactly what I needed
You can't beat this mic system for the price! The sound quality that it picks up is very good. I've used it both indoors, in a conference room setting, as well as outdoors in open pasture. Picked up great sound from both parties in an interview. I'm pleased with the nice, solid clip. I've had others that break off easily. The small receiver is easily clipped onto the camera handle if you don't want to use the mounting tapes.

Crisp Sound w/o breaking the bank
Was looking for something to record my DIY's and conduct interviews for my site. We cover big events with lots of noise to interviews sitting side by side. In both situation (controlled noise and uncontrolled noise) the handheld mic and clip on worked perfectly. Functional lav, hand-held useless
This is a pretty good you get what you pay for unit. The hand-held mic is so poorly made that it's not even usable. Lots of loose connection sounding noise. The quality of the transmitter and receiver feel good, not great. The lav sounds good with some minor noise. There are only 2 VHF frequencies to choose from so if those don't work you're out of luck. All that said, it's useful if you have a camera that accepts a mini-plug input.

Good for the money
Good system for the price. I used the handheld mic for on camera interviews and got some low popping sounds at regular intervals - perhaps I should have switch to the other frequency. Not very well made, the lavaliere microphone windscreen was lost the first 20 minutes of use. Overall good for the money.

Best Wireless Mic for the $$
We use the wireless mic for video production of teaching and demonstrating courses. The mic is good giving minimal interference, but sometimes when the person with the mic moves, an extra hum comes through the system (thus only 4 stars). More expensive systems without this hum cost several times more than this system.

Great product for a small budget.
Like what I heard on youtube about this product. Also read the reviews. The sound quality is very good. Using this with a Canon T3i & already the sound has made a difference with the videos. Can't beat B&H prices.

Mics are the weak link
The transmitter and receiver work fine. On the first one I received, the handheld had a terrible crackling when the cable was slightly moved. I returned it and had the same problem with both the lav and handheld on the replacement - not as bad as the first one, but there should be NO crackling when the cables are moved. I had really high hopes for this system. With the first one I received, the lav worked perfectly, but there was TERRIBLE crackling anytime the handheld's cable was slightly moved. I exchanged it for second system and there was slight crackling on BOTH mics this time - not as bad as the original handheld, but way more than what I'd consider acceptable. Nice unit, nice price
I started using the mic in the field for educational videos of the work I do. Clean recording and no complaints. Hard to beat it for the price. And it comes with and omni-directional lapel mic and a uni-directional dynamic mic. Nice unit. Using it mainly for internet video posts. I doubt I would even consider it for professional recording but for me it is great.

Highly Recommend
Bought this system to use for filming golf Instructional videos. The system works great and there is absolutely no feedback or background noise. Easy to use and has a great range. I would recommend this to all.

okay but not great
As Realtors we wanted this to make video of real estate easy and wireless. There is intermittent static. Very affordable but not quick and easy. At least there is a monitor so you know if there is static or not.

amature video at this point, the product seemed to good to be true and performed much better than expected. AWESOME PRODUCT FOR A AWESOME PRICE
I got this mic system for better sound quaity on my camcorder and my youtube videos,I love the fact they give you two microphones,the only con is the battery life it is only 8 hours.
