Needed a new monitor. Have had a ASUS VS247H-P the past few years that's been flawless, so I decided to buy a newer version of it for a second desktop in the house. And the new one is flawless as well. ASUS makes great monitors. Highly recommended!

Buggy. I dont recommend it.
Ive had this monitor for over a month now. Ive never owned an Asus before so I thought I give it a try. Turns out it was a mistake. The monitor flickers off/on occasionally for about 5 secs. It doesnt do it often, maybe once a day. I thought it was the HDMI cable so I upgraded it to a higher quality one. And all the connections are tight, nothing is loose. But the problem persists. A really good monitor at a really good price.
I was a little hesitant to get a 24 monitor, fearing it would be too big for my desk. Now that I have used this Asus monitor for a few weeks, I have no regrets only praise for this large, sharp screen. The VS248H-P was fine right out of the box. It is even better now that I have adjusted the screen with a Spyder calobration tool that I use for my Photoshop computer. Yes, the on-screen controls are limited and fiddly, but that is true of every standard monitor I have ever used. The Asus monitor is a really good purchase, especially at B&H prices. Let's see how long it lasts.

Considering buying a second one.
I use this monitor on my desktop computer at home for work and play. For work it is clear and crisp and plenty bright enough for me to see every detail that I need to. For play it displays the games I play brilliantly, with no tearing or other artifacts. The blacks are near to true black and the other colors look true as well. Excellent monitor, definitely a step up from my old Samsung 226BW.

Gets the job done
My old monitor was on the fritz so I read through the reviews and settled on this one. It's a great monitor for the price. I'm not much of a gamer but I am playing Obduction which, while not a shooter, is still a graphics intensive game. The monitor has handled everything admirably, with no blurring or ghosting as far as I can tell.

Everyone should use this monitor.
I run a high school broadcast program, and we use these on a daily basis. Great resolution, doesn't overheat even after prolonged use, essential inputs for HDMI, DVI and VGA; and yes, this monitor is wall mountable (It comes with little rubber covers inside the VESA threads that you can pop out with a small flathead screwdriver). Just about perfect for the price.

Great value for the price
Compatible with a Mac. Using it with a 2014 Mac mini. Have had it almost 2 years. Large enough to show a full-size 2-page spread with room left for menus. Pleasing color, sharpness and vibrance. Use for graphic design and image retouching/color-correction. Only minor issue I have found is that it seems to crop out a few pixels at the bottom of the screen. Although it may fall slightly short of the 2003-era Apple Cinema monitor it replaced, I would buy it again, especially when budget is a concern. Great value for the price.

Excellent Monitor
I bought this monitor to go with new computer.There is a world of difference between the old monitor and this one. Besides being larger the images are sharper and the colors brighter. I do a lot of photography and it is an excellent monitor for editing photographs.

Surprisingly good monitor for the price
Use my new monitor daily for graphics and film editing. Color, contrast and vibrance is outstanding. Seems to be very true to life and did not need to tweak the controls. The auto color balance works right out of the box. Monitor installed itself no need to install any further software like some models. Really cannot find any bad points about it so far it works great. It has a very stable stand and tilts to the viewing angle that works best for you. A great monitor for the price.

Great Monitor for Gaming with an XBox One
Bought this as a monitor for online gaming on the Xbox One -- VERY responsive, amazing graphics, and smooth game play. Quick refresh rate definitely provides and advantage in COD and other FPS shooters. You simply can't go wrong for the price and quality of this monitor.

Very Nice
Okay, the bad news first-- The base of mine did not have that 'carbon fiber' look to it. It is just glossy black. Also, the monitor has a 'HDMI' label on the lower left side. I looked specifically for a monitor that did not have that label. I feel like it's like when car manufacturers have to say z-71 or eco-boost or junk like that on their cars. It just isn't classy. Great Minitor
I use this monitor for mostly gaming, but I also use it to sometimes watch tv or movies. First off, let me say that this monitor is great quality and the price is great. If I didn't know the price I would think that this was a $$monitor or more expensive. There are no dead pixels and the image on it is superb. If you are limited budget or don't want to get anything too expensive, while still looking great, I would HIGHLY recommend this monitor!

I created digital mini-comic books of my Super-Powered Characters at www.alpha-level.net with Manga-EX5. My old monitor was a 24 inch Soyo Topaz that was notorious for blinking black/filling black from bottom to top of screen, contrast and resolution issues. Nice Monitor
I bought 2 of these. Pretty decent screen for a good price. They do take a little bit of tweeking to get them looking good initially, but once they are adjusted, they look great.I use them in a dual monitor setup/home recording studio.
