Worth every penny.
I purchased the A99II to replace my A77II for wildlife photography. The AF on the camera is very fast and accurate. The learning curve on the different settings will take some time but worth it. The SAL 70-400G2 is a great lens for this camera and this combo has been a joy to use.

overheats
this has to be the disappointment of the decade. what was supposed to be their flagship camera over heats and shuts off after just a few minutes of use while filming in 4k. do not buy to shoot video. might be good for photos but who knows. the camera overheated and shut off.

An amazing update to a very good camera
Fast, accurate, insane dynamic range, out of this world detail, all packaged in a high resolution what you see is what you get EVF. Frankly, it is all I wanted from my Sony a7r ii. It solves all my issues. Use this and the Sony 135 1.8 and you'll never look back.

I have a a99 for almost 3 years , Now with the a99II I have made over 1000 images and some videos. after downloading the software , I am very happy with the camera so far ,there are about a 90% upgrade over the a99 that's BIG but it smaller .

Great camera
I have a77II crop sensor & switiching to A99 make a big difference. the pictures are great. Handling is good.. once you know were are the buttons, it is easy to navigate. A Plus Sony. I hope they will still make A mount lenses.

Fast
LIGHTENING fast focus, but joystick difficult to use - making menu difficult to navigate. My old A77 had much easier joystick. Wish this had 5 mini buttons to replace 5-function joystick. Wish there was a built-in flash.

Overheats and shuts down. STILL!!
So mad that after all these years Sony still can't make a dslr that doesn't overheat. Seriously. My GoPro can shoot longer than this. In 4K mode it overheats and shuts off after about 20 minutes. So not happy with this.

It's the best camera in the world
Maybe someone can email me the camera is great but when I plug in the camera to the computer the camera goes completely dead and I have the recharge the camera battery before it works please help me with this Thanks.

Ive owned my A99II for a little over a year now and I love it. Simi-pro user with great aspirations to be more-pro. This camera is pro grade stuff and absolutely takes stunning pictures

Sony a99 11 Camera
First it is a lot liter then the A77 I have. Fast focus, love the color that pops off the photos. Had to get use to the way the button moves. Other than that this is a great camera.

Amazing Machine!
This camera is a beast and blows the Cannon Mark IV out of the water! if you want a solid professional all around camera then go for the Sony A99 II...you will not regret it.

My go to cameta body!
I use the A99ii for portrait and family photography. I use my 35mm, 85mm and 50mm mostly. I love the sharp images it produces and the easy to use menu. Great camera.

Best camera ever
3 day shipping didn't come to pass and all that time with UPS allowed them to destroy the shipping box. B&H didn't wrap 4 sides inside but the camera survived.

I would buy again and highly recommend

For macro work this is the best camera i've ever used. The 42 mp., electronic viewfinder, inside stabilization, and tilting lcd monitor make macro work easy

The best Sony camera to date,super fast focus will be doing wildlife shoots in Florida for 3 months I will also be using the Sony 300MM and 500mm lenses..

Sony's best translucent mirror camera so far
Good translucent mirror, full frame. So far I am pleased with my image quality. Not certain whether the DSLR format will survive the mirrorless craze.
