Perfect for ts target use

I am using this to mic an oboe in live, small ensemble performances in loud, noisy venues, like background music at an upscale function. It is highly directional, and therefore easy to slide on or off mic as the situation requires. The attached clip, when fastened to a music stand shelf, can position the head perfectly about even with the right hand, which gives a good boost without the harshness you'd get bell-mic-ing. For use with acoustic instruments in a live setting, and considering the relatively low price, I would think it's about the best you're going to find.Show Less
