Lightweight storage
Recently moved and had to downgrade our internet connection speed such that cloud backup and storage was impossible. Am now using a couple of these as backup discs for our Macs - fast data transfer and lightweight. Keep one at home and one offsite.

perfect external
Both my laptop & desk top have 500GB SSD drives. I work on my files (MS word, MS excel, PP and photos) on the desktop at home and the laptop when I travel. I hated my files on these computers being out of sync between the two computers. Reliable, fast, handy

Can't get it to work on my Mac
I don't know. I'm no computer novice but when I plug this thing in and try to format it, not only does it state that the capacity is 44 MB but the formatting always fails. I tried downloading Samsung software and drivers but nothing works. I didn't find this out until I left the country. I will see if I can return it when I return but I probably lost the cost of this thing. As far as I'm concerned, I would have been better off just getting a WD drive. Never had a problem with those.

Good for Premiere
I use this as a scratch disk when editing in adobe premiere. It's much better than other drives because of its fast read/write speed. Highly recommended for that purpose.

So fast and so small!!
I love these drives! I started with the smaller 500gb and have slowly made my way up to the 2TB! They are lightning fast, so compact and now that the 2TB is such a great price you really cant go wrong with getting it.

1. This is an amazing bit of tech. Now I can just transfer what I need to an external storage device without a glich. I have bought 2 of these. For the Wife and I. 2. Finest (And smallest) Drive
I use it to back up my 1tb macbook pro. It used to take four hours to do a complete backup, it now take 9 minutes or less. The drive is tiny about a small as a credit card or somewhat smaller. I suppose it helps if you've a ssd installed in the machine as well.

Very light and fast, perfect for travel
I use this drive for travel, it's great for backing up my entire hard drive and LR catalog. There's built in password protection before the drive is loaded on the computer.

fast and small
very fast hard drive for quick back up. though it made me some trouble when i inserted a password to it, it stopped showing up on other laptops or pcs. after turning the password off, it became as great as it was :)

Simply works. A BMPCC4K user.
Using it to record externally with the BMPCC4K. Has worked fine ever since and out of the box. Simply format it and youre good to go. A great way to save money on storage using the best codec options with this camera.

Not for Mac OS
Second time I've been burned by Samsung drives. It isn't for MacOS. It says it is - but you have to use their proprietary software to prepare the drive. The software is flunky. Doesn't even recognize the drive is connected to the computer - so you go to the Samsung website for troubleshooting and downloading the updated software. Fast and reliable
I absolutely love this hard drive. Such a huge difference! Its super fast and small and light. And Im not even using it for storage, Im using this to boot my computer and process large files like music and pictures and its simply amazing

4k external goodness
I'm on a MBP and like most who are doing video, we need fast usable media storage without blocking up the main drive. I'm running FCPX and Resolve 15 with the media running live from the Samsung SSD. Works great. 4k 60fps. Done.

Great solution to large portable storage

Fast and reliable
This is my second T5 drive. First I bought a 500GB version, now the 1TB. It's cheap and small but very fast and reliable. I use it both with the Thunderbolt 3 cable and the USB cable, both work just fine.

Works great!
I use this SSD as my primary drive to store my images. This drive is of course backed up by a cloud service and another hard drive I keep locked up. I have not had any issues with the drive, it worked on my iMac right out of the box. Its fast and stable. My only minor complaint is I'm unable to rename the drive.

Excellent product
Worked great right out of the box. Quick Start Guide had just what was needed to get in going. Would be helpful to include a sentence or two explaining exFAT in the guide.

OutRageously Good!
I bought it to replace an external HDD for backing up my MacBook Pro, The HDD used to take 3 or more hours for a full backup. Now it takes less than 10 minutes to back up 500 gb

BMP4k
Got this to connect to my BMP4KCC. It is finicky at best. Not sure if it is the camera or the SSD in terms of accepting the footage.
