You DEFINITELY get what you pay for
I used these to replace the stock heads on my DM8 and the feel is MUCH better. I also have much confidence in the strength and longevity of these heads (they are made by Remo) I am (unfortunately) a hard hitting drummer and they take it without a scratch. VERY pleased with this product - you definitely get what you pay for here.

Really tough, durable.
I had a double-trigging problem on my v-drum kit. Thought it was the triggers...so I replace the mesh skins, and my problems are gone.
