I've had all sizes of monitors, from a cellphone to this 43", and this is the most awesome display I've ever had the pleasure of looking at!! The native resoltion is 3840 X 2160 and I have set the viewing at 150% to get the icons recognizeable and to be able to read the type under them! But your eyes might be better than these old ones!! AMAZING!

Monitor Flickering and Terrible Warranty
I have the same issue, the monitor start flickering for months. I called the service center couple of times, and there is no repair center in LA could take care of it. The monitor itself is lying there for 2 months already, and it doesn't seem to be resolved soon.

Started Flickering and No Longer Supports HDCP 2.2
When I first received the monitor, it worked great. But after about one month it started flickering periodically. Now it flickers a lot. I have the latest graphics card driver installed and the graphics driver supports HDCP 2.2 and HDMI 2.0a. I have updated the firmware and the monitor driver from LG. But the problem persists. Great work monitor!
Like everything about it. It is as good in front of me as it loos in the picture. Clear lines, great, crisp picture, anti-glare, hi-res; has all the connectivity. The sound is quite good, especially for background music. The remote is neat. Works fine with PC and Mac. And it has a good price to go with it. The regular table-top mount is elegant enough. We recently hooked it up on a wall mount and it is even nicer that way. I recommend this monitor to anyone looking to ditch a multi-monitor set up for one larger real estate work space.

Great monitor
I've only had the monitor a few weeks, but it has become indispensable. I use it mainly for document preparation, spreadsheets, web surfing, and gaming. Videos and movies look incredible on this monitor. The monitor replaced two 32" monitors and provides an incredible amount of surface area to get work done. FANTASTIC VALUE
Love this monitor! It is large enough to display 3840 x 2160 (native) pixels at, not 150% or 125%, but 100% text size! I wear reading glasses but I still prefer 100% text size so that all applications and dialogs display correctly. Thanks to it's size, this one can do that without any problems. Perfect For My Needs
It's huge! Scaling allows me to see things again, even with failing eyes. Did I mention that it's huge? Familiar aspect ratio and decent speakers that I thought I would never use, but do. It will work until 8k monitors of this size become common
If you have a use for 43" of screen real estateand you can handlegoing back in time to non-retina crisp text this monitor does the job. Probably would be a waste of money if you're a professional gamer. The stand footprint is nice although it is not adjustable. If adjustabilityis needed thenplan on buying a differentstand. In my opinion,the 43" is as large as a 4k screen can go for computing withoutmaking text difficult to read.

A fantastic upgrade that keeps performing
I thought I will find it too big, but it feels just right and the productivity increase is noticeable. A great value for the $. Sound is very nice and works great with MacBook Pro 2013 via Display Port including sound (which I did not realize it does). For all who ended up with several screens and now look to upsize and consolidate the monitor real estate, this is it.

I'm happy with it. It's a 4k monitor that is a nice size. You have a lot of pixels and your eyes don't strain. That said. It is kind of big, so you can't sit as close to it as you would a normal monitor. I have a normal desk and am using a monitor arm to get a few inches further back and a keyboard tray. Used for a Week - So Far So Good
I bought this to give me larger images and text as well as more display space. I use it with two computers - personal Mac with Thunderbolt 3 and church owned Surface Book (Windows 10) through a Surface dock (mini dispaly to display port). Amazing monitor, just edge casting shadows with an angle
At first, I was really afraid that it would be way too big. I switched from a dual-monitor setup with a horizontal30" display and a vertical 24" display. That monitor ended up being not as wide, so I got used to it in a matter of seconds. It really is a great monitor! Excellent monitor; very pleased with performance
Definite productivity increase over three monitors. I use it in an office with windows on three sides and the LG surface seems less glossy than other brands, making it more suitable for my type of environment. I had this shipped by B&H to Canada and everything went well. Arrived in one piece and worked immediately.

Great monitor for photography workflows with my iMac(2017)
I am impressed by the real estate the monitor provides. -I was skeptical about the enormous size, but eventually you get used to it. I am glad I bought the monitor. -The remote is an added advantage. It makes the settings a lot more accessible.

Great overall, not many issues worth mentioning!
I used this monitor for 3D modelling, texture generation, and development in Unity. The large workspace and resolution does make it easier to zoom in on minute details in complicated models. I have viewed some 4K content on the monitor and it is impressive; yet, I can't see buying a 4K monitor just for the 4K experience--I'm happy with the results of 1080p. USB ports NOT FUNCTIONING! Common problem.
Like many users/owners, my USB hub in the LG (i.e. the USB-3 ports) are not functioning at all. I have tried 3 different different USB A to C cables, from two separate host machines, none of them recognize the hub (on the LG) exists. Has anyone found a solution to fix this issue? Thank you.

Love the Huge Real Estate on One Monitor
If you have enough space to enjoy this monitor from a distance, it's a much better solution that two 27 monitors or a 38 UW monitor. The increased vertical space is very handy for arranging windows and makes for nice tall windows for email and browsing. View massive spreadsheets. I find that it is about right for me at 42 from the edge of the desk where I sit. I'd say 36 distance from the monitor would be the least where it's comfortable, with about 40 or 42 inches being better. NOTE: it does not charge the macbook pro via USB-C...it only outputs 7.5 watts.

For the price, this monitor is a MUST GET for productivity!
Superb! Best monitor you can get out there for productivity and has any types of inputs you can imagine, comes pre calibrated, you need a bit of a distance since this monitor is enormous but once you start using it, you really can't go back! retina displays are nice but once you start working, the estate is what counts, you can use full 4K res on this thing and can still read everything without magnifying glasses!

Great Screen, USB ports don't work and Xbox have issues
I bought this monitor because of the USB mouse & keyboard feature of being able to connect up to 4 computers using 1 Mouse & Keyboard. Unfortunately, this monitor's USB ports are either broken or the item doesn't work as intended. I spend several hours with LG tech support to diagnose the issue and the end conclusion was that LG was going to swap it out for another monitor. Great monitor for the price, pairs well with a 2016 MacBkPro
Beware : the HDMI cable that comes with it will NOT support 4k @ 60Hz. It also does not com with a USB-C cable (make sure you get a 10Gb/sec compatible one for the same reason). Once I changed out the HDMI cable with a better one, bingo.
