Too bright, Colors too vivid
For the price this display seems pretty reasonable. I did not have much to compare it too since I bought on line. Once out of the box and connected, I had some problems with getting the desktop to appear on the display. My computer recognized this as a second monitor and I could not open the control panel to reset. All around amazing monitor
This isn't just a great monitor for the price, it is just a plain amazing monitor. I purchased the 23 for gaming and Blu-Ray movies and it made 2 of my friends purchase this 21.5 for themselves. The colors are bright and vivid and the darks and blacks are deep and dark. Works just fine
This monitor replaced an SD one. It is the same size but the picture quality is better. I watch an increasing number of movies and TV shows on the Internet, and decided I wanted an HD monitor. I was concerned about the possible damage to the monitor during shipping, but it came very well packaged and handled. I do not see any bad pixels whatsoever. Beautiful monitor for the price
I use this monitor to edit HD videos. It works wonderful with my 2012 mac mini. The quality is amazing for the price. At 21.5 inches the size is perfect for displaying full HD video, every color is shown and the matte screen keeps glare to a minium. the VGA and HDMI inputs allow for analog and digital viewing. The only down side to this monitor is the internal speakers are horrible, But I use external speakers so it's not an issue for me. Great value and wonderful performance is the reason I'll be getting this monitor again for a dual screen set up.

Good for Gaming...not for video editing.
I bought this monitor for a dual monitor setup with my iMac to help with video editing. Although the screen is about the same in size, the stand is much shorter. I am using a few books to raise the height by a few inches to get it level with my iMac. Unfortunately I am unable to lower the brightness or adjust the contrast on this monitor. I tried both an HDMI and a VGA adapter via thunderbolt to find a solution but in both instances the option was greyed out in the menu screen. I do prefer games on this monitor...but not for Video Editing.

Absolutely Gorgeous
Absolutely awesome display for it's price. I was looking for something less than $150 and found this which had free shipping as well. I got the package in 2 days! I plugged it into the wall and my laptop, turned it on and it worked! No drivers or any other software necessary. It has worked flawlessly and is an absolutely gorgeous display. The only drawback is it has to be calibrated color wise because the colors are just a tad off. Definitely worth it's cost and a no brainer for someone looking for another display.

Quality Product
Very pleased with the picture quality and controls on this Asus monitor. Easy to navigate menu and buttons hidden on the bottom. A very nice sleek & clean looking monitor. I purchase 2 monitors for a dual set-up, mounted on a 100 VESA swing arm. I'm a first time buyer of B&H and I'm very satisfied with their service. Super fast shipping and excellent packaging. I highly recommend B&H for your PC needs. Asus products are top shelf, my favorite.

Great office monitor
Product was delivered cross-country (to CA) in just 3 days! Monitor arrived without any damages or issues. Minor setup required to attach the base stand and I was up and running. I've been using it daily for about a week now in my home office and have no issues. The color seems to be a bit on the warmer side as compared to my laptop monitor, but not an issue for me as I'm not using it for photo/video-editing. All around great budget monitor.

A Great Monitor
Out of the box the monitor was too bright for me so I lowered the brightness and contrast to 85 in standard mode and so far so good. Have not had a problem with stand but you do need to use a screwdriver to tighten the screw supporting the base. With this high a resolution text is smaller for my aging eyes but graphics and videos look very sharp. B&H came through with great service and a quality product.

Great little monitor
I purchased this as a production monitor when filming shorts and commercials. It will work great and I also purchased a stand bracket that pairs well with it. It does not say IPS I do not believe but it appears to me that it is. Low power draw and can run off of a VML battery which is awesome! Light little monitor! Vesa Mount is great and to platform is removable for those of you wondering.

B&H Customer Service - Not a nice picture
The picture on the monitor is great! I opened the box 1 week after I received the display and was having trouble turning it on. The buttons are on the underside of the monitor and I thought the front icons were touch sensitive. I called for technical assistance and was told I needed to call within 2 days of receiving the merchandise if there is a problem with it. Not the best experience...

great image - weak stand
I am using this monitor via an hdmi cable connected to my mac mini. The image is great, but the stand is insufficient to support the monitor. The least bit of vibration (say from typing on the keyboard) causes the monitor to shake from side to side. I would not suggest purchasing this monitor unless you plan to use it with a VESA mount or until Asus decides to upgrade the stand.

Excellent monitor for Mac mini
I bought this monitor to use with a Mac mini. Very good resolution and was auto configured by the mac. Monitor obeys sleep schedule programmed by the energy saver on the mini and wakes up quickly and correctly. Previous monitor would wake up with a shrunken screen image that could only be corrected by a shutdown and boot.

The best monitor $100 can buy.
I own 2 of these. I got one about a year ago and recently bought another one. The OSD is easy to use and there's even a dedicated button to change the color setting; which is great for changing the monitor from the regular light mode to a darker Night Mode. Would definitely recommend to friends and family.

Great Quality --As Expected From Asus
Great monitor, the picture is beautiful! Great warranty, great price, nothing more can be expected. The only downsize I did notice is that the monitor is a little wobbly, but that's really no big deal at all. It's wobbly because of the way it adjusts I think. Overall great quality product from Asus!

Good image quality and
I use this monitor to project my tablet screen through HDMI and am very satisfied with the resolution, brightness, and vivid colors. I did find navigating through the menus non-intuitive. I like the 3-year warranty including free two-way shipping should that become necessary.

Great Monitor
I use this monitor to play Call of Duty and other games on and it's perfect, have only had it for 2 weeks but I haven't had any problems and the picture quality is great, I would totally recommend this monitor to anyone looking to get a gaming monitor

Great Product
I have no needs other than simple monitors for several workstations at my office. I now have about 10 of these screens and am very happy with them. They are in dual screen setups using both the VGA and HDMI connections and both work as expected.

Works fine but with a slight caveat.
I bought this Asus display for a 2014 Mac Mini running macOS 10.4.6. It works fine for doing home office work. Some times when it wakes from sleep the display has a washed out look. Just a simple monitor off/on corrects this issue.

Asus widescreen monitor
We bought this when our old monitor went bad. I like the fact that we have multiple inputs on it. It is so much brighter than the old one. I would recommend this to someone looking for a fairly inexpensive monitor.

Good monitor
Very good color as received though needed to turn down the brightness. Making adjustment in settings way not intuitive but with a little focus was able to make the necessary adjustments. Good monitor for the price.

Quite satisfied with the product.
Prior to buying this monitor, I had mixed views of Asus products. This monitor changed my view completely. It is by far the best monitor I have had. On top of that the price is astonishingly fair.

Great Display Sreen
Poor printed instructions. Download PDF instuctions from website. HDMI input and aspect ratio control. A 1080 TV with no remote control or speakers or turner. Fine with a HD cable box.

We needed a second screen on one computer because of a program that required different screen setup to display the output properly. This screen was easy to set up and configure.
