Simple But Fun
An audio sampler and sequencer that fits in your pocket! Limited but creative device. You won't be performing or mixing a set like an MPC or OP1. However, you can chain patterns together to make an entire song. The instrument does have a learning curve especially working with samples. The FX shine and are probably the best part of the PO-33. Overall, fun device with limitations that pushes your creativity.

Don't
I've been looking for a cheap, portable 360 for years in order to add sound clips to my live presentations. This isn't it. The input is distorted when using the onboard mic or by cable input. It registers a noise, but what you record is not what you get back. The playback is faint. The screen is odd and useless. I probably would have done better with an arduino kit. This toy isn't much better, but it certainly costs more.

Unique and versitile
This product is simple but at the same time incredibly complex. It is a great tool for chopping and sampling. The knobs sometimes are touchy and cant decide where they are reading, and in louder environments it can be hard to hear the lower frequencies, but headphones fix that problem. Love the product.

PO-33 Is a great little sampler
The PO-33 is a fun and pretty powerful little sampler. Dont be fooled by the small size or toy looks, this thing is really cool. As for B&H... well, I had a slight problem with my unit. The tab on the top was broken off when I receivedit. I am pretty sure this happened before shipping and the tab was nowhere in the box. Pocket Miracle...
Amazing! That's the only way I can describe this little device. As a long time Hip Hop fan and skratch DJ, I've always had an interest and love for the art of sampling. Not knowing much about it and not wanting to break the bank to learn about how sampling works, the PO-33 came along. My appreciation for how early Hip Hop music was created has expanded vastly with this micro sampler. For the price, this is a no brainer for the average music fan. Thanks Teenage Engineering!

Battery holder contacts bend
I discovered that I can't operate the PO-12 in my hand since it puts tension on the batteries, bending the battery positive or negative contacts away from the battery. It should be operated on a firm surface. When removing the batteries, keep one finger pushing inwards towards the battery and use a flat head screwdriver to push the other end of the battery inward and upwards. If the contacts do bend, then remove the batteries and gently apply inward pressure to restore them to their original position. That aside, the price and number of sound variations make this synthesizer a buyer's deal.

There's more to the PO-12 than it seems...
When plugged in, you will be surprised that much sound is coming from something so tiny and so well engineered. Once I was familiar with the controls and how to control the sounds it makes, I could string along patterns in such a way that made everything flow in a very organic and calculated way. Awesome quality on the cheap
This product is really great at an affordable price. It has sixteen drum sounds as well as sixteen effects and a sixteen step step sequencer. It's easy to carry around with you and has a really cool interface. I highly te comes this for anyone's electronic gif set up.

Great, you can really make some fat beats on this machine, the only con i would have is that, it only stores 16 patterns so it's short for an entire live set, but sounds really really nice.
