Sony F-V420 Cardioid Mic
I'm using the mic to record song lyrics on a JVC tape deck (I know, old school), I hung the mic on a cup screw (twisted into the wood ceiling) by its cord, worked great! Sound is very good. Cord is substantial, mic is brutally strong, 4 stars because connection plug between cord and mic is firm enough for my use, but might prove too weak for band use or lots of in and outs. Great for non-pros.

don't waste your money.
this mike make noise from simply holding it! It ruined an interview I was doing. I bought another to see if it was the mike or the model. It was the same awful sound from just holding the mike unless you don't move your fingers or your hand. Before you buy be sure the mike you want will not pick up handling noise!

Excellent Microphone
Useful, easy to manuever and use, convenient to pack without extra material hanging on it. Very compact and good hand held device for speaking presentations. Good sound.

Very good mic
worked very well with the kopul LMT100 adapter and a Pearstone stereo extension for a camcorder with a MIC port good price good sound no regrets.

This product is as good as my $100 mic tho only thing is I didn't know it was a mono mic until I went to edit.
