Shure SRH240A Studio Headphones
Doesn't live up to the Shure name
First and foremost, I am a Shure fan. I have always loved the quality in product when it comes to headphones, and have always been very satisfied with all my purchased. In the past I've purchased SE215 and SE315 In Ear Monitors. I just recently purchased these SRH240A's, and for the first time I am dissatisfied and disappointed. I think the sound that the headphones produce is excellent and live up to the Shure name. The problem is the headphones... Show More

The Shure are great for the price!
These came in a B&H kit with a Blue Yeti mic. I have been using some Sennheiser HD 203s for the last year or so as my computer speakers at work. I tried these out and they are better then that Senns in every way (exepct maybe weight and large size). They sound better, are more comfy and less fatiguing. I have heard much better sound from OTE cans, but for the price, these are totally worth it. These are very large headphones and they don't fold up for storage or portability. Though they are all plastic, they feel fairly sturdy and well built.

Great Sound For A Low Price!
Went with these headphone because of the Shure brand alone due to the fact that I already own a Shure microphone and love it. When I first saw the price I was not sure how quality of a product it was going to be but as it turns out, I was pleasantly surprised in the quality of sound as well as the comfort of this product. If you are looking for a great set of headphones with quality sound without spending hundreds of dollars I would suggest these Shure headphones!

Stylized with great sound
I use this pair of headphones with my Roland FP-7F, the sound quality is good, but I've tried better headphones that replicate sound better than this one, but overall, a solid pair of headphones that look ok as well. The only gripe that I have is that there isn't a detachable cable. If you want that, then I suggest the Shure SRH-440, which do have them and a carrying case.

You Can't Go Wrong With These Headphones
These headphones are excellent for studio recording. After searching and trying nearly all of B&H's headphones on display, these called out to me the most from all of the rest for their price, sound and design. If you're on a budget, but don't want to sacrifice quality just buy this model. You'll be glad you did.

Better than expected
These headphones do exactly what you would expect them to do. They're good, but I wasn't blown away by them. The best part about these headphones is that they fit all the way around the ears. They don't sit on top of the ears like other headphones.

The most BANG for your headphones buck$
If you want a headset that gives you as good or better sound than Bose, or Beats without putting you in the poor-house, this one certainly is for you! I use it daily, plugged into my netbook as a vehicle to play MP3s. Fantastic!

Stylist headphone w/ great sound quality
I previously owned a Sony Noise Cancellation headphone, this one definitely offers better sound quality that the Sony, and it is a lot cheaper. Would be terrific if it also have some sort of noise canceling function as well.

basic
I use these headphones for my digital piano (came in the bundle). They are soft and comfortable but the fit is not good enough to enclose the ears and buffer ambient noise as well as other headphones.

Excellent sound
I'm glad that these headphones were part of the bundle I bought. The sound is rich, deep, well balanced. It comes with the adapter 3.5mm to 1/4 which works great.

Decent headphones
Not the best headphones I've ever used, but really good for the price, especially if you don't require perfection.
