Honestly, I'm not sure why more manufactures don't make floor monitors like this. The super compact design, low wedge profile, easy to reach controls, and radical angle of the speaker are all great design characteristics and the exact reasons I went with these over your typical QSC, EV, JBL powered speakers. My biggest complaint with these is the quality of the knobs and switch on the back. They feel pretty flimsy. Another complaint is the amount... Show More of volume the amp provides. Sure, I can push this thing pretty hard from the board, but I have to crank the volume on the speaker itself to help me to to a workable level. In the end though, if you're looking for a compact wedge, this and the ones Seismic Audio provides are really your only options at this price. Sure, turbosound makes a wedge, but those are almost twice the price and don't even have handles. Fingers crossed these puppies last me while with little hassle.
