Excellent Camera so far...
I will be using this as a second camera (upgrading from a 7D) to match my C100. So far I love the dynamic range. Coming from a Canon the menu systems are confusing but I'm sure I'll get the hang of it. Also, the body is a lot lighter and feels less rugged than the 7D. 4K is beautiful and the image is nice and crisp (major step up from the 7D) and once color graded it will match my C100 very well.

Awesome
I'm an independent filmmaker and this little camera has been awesome. I switched from a Canon 6d to this and am completely happy. The 4k video is awesome for post and the colors on the GH4 are incredible. I got the active booster and so I am still able to use my Canon glass and it looks great. If there was a complaint, it would be that the camera is too small. The touch screen helps though. Just an amazing camera. Looking forward to shooting my first feature with this camera.

4K for $, Swiss army knife of DLSRs
Yes its not a DSLR its mirrorless. BH only gave me so much space for the title. This camera is great for users who want a compact and long battery life camera that gives you crazy options for output. 4K no problem. PAL or NTSC no problem. SloMo no problem. I use this camera with a metabones Speedbooster and love the look it achieves when combined with my old Nikon primes and the Sigma ART 18-35mm 1.8. As a former GH2 user I can say I'm very pleased with the changes Panasonic has made. The color science is greatly improved as well as the menus. They are much more understandable now.

Make a research before buying a product
It's a great system replacement for my Canon DSLR camera, supperior image quality. a lot smaller great system when you travel that you don't have to carry bulky and heavy equipment. This is a wonderful camera. I hesitated for six months due to the price, but it is totally worth the price. Solid build, very professional feeling tool. Excellent Video and Still Camera
I have begun creating video business cards using this camera and the Panasonic shotgun mic. I love the quality of the 4K video and the sound quality is very good too. I also love that you can grab a still from the video - great for photographing children and pets who are always moving! I also have used it for some landscape photography on my last trip to Montana and love the images! All around great camera, light weight and excellent glass. The LCD is beautiful. The battery lasts twice as long as any I've used before.

Great camera but the resolution
I was super excited to get this camera for the 4K video feature but once I filmed with the camera, I was impressed by the resolution. I just feel that if I'm filming in 4K then I want to film on a camera that has better clarity. As for use as a photo camera, it's great! I did a photoshoot with it and really liked it. My verdict: I'm returning it and paying a little extra to get the Canon 5D Mark iii.

Everything you hoped it would be...
I primarily shoot video but needed a budget camera that would allow for interchangeable lenses. The GH4 is everything you'd want for low-budget and event shooting. With the proper lenses and rigging, the high quality is nearly indistinguishable from a dedicated video camera, prosumer or otherwise. The flexibility and improvements on this model after having relied on the GH2 for so many years are greatly appreciated.

Well worth the hype
Purchased with the panasonic f2.8, 12-35 lens and loving it. Very crisp shots, love the color representation. Lots of features --haven't begun to scratch the surface yet. Just tested the 96fps and it works great.

Based on video shooting only: The GH4 has amazing image quality at 4K, lots of detail, very very sharp. Lots of Pros, that camera is almost perfect for the price. Phenomenal camera!
I'm just completely blown away by the quality of the 4k footage down scaled to 1080P. It's small and light and packs a big punch! Definitely worth the price and would recommend this to any indie film makers! Paired with a Leica 25mm 1.4 lens this camera is a beast!

Obviously the best MFT camera for video, but this beats up on many full frame cameras as well. Left Canon completely for this setup. I was originally worried about going from full frame to MFT I would lose some of that amazing dof, but I couldn't have been more wrong. Amazing camera!!!

Awesome GH3 Upgrade
Image quality is amazing, shooting in 4k changes the way we structure our productions for the better. Also, we used to shoot primarily on the GH3 and this camera is so similar in size and operation that we didn't have to change anything else in our workflow! I have had no problems and have been shooting Lumix since the GH2 and they have always been such solid cameras with no major problems for operation. It is reliable, and I can trust that.

Sell your Canon 5D3 - maybe?
This is a great camera. I purchased this camera for the 4K video. I was using a 5D3 for video and stills. I sold my 5D after using the GH4. The upgrade in video quality is stellar. There is no doubt that the stills from the 5D are amazing. But I have been getting great results from the GH4 with stills. I purchased the Lumix 7-14 for landscape shots. They are stunning! Don't let the claim of low-light performance scare you from purchasing this camera. Turn off iDynamic, boots the master pedestal to +15 and you will be happy at 800 - 1600 iso.
