For those of you who keep saying you can't get decent narrow depth of field shots with micro 4/3... This is taken with my G7 and the Panasonic 42.5mm F1.7. I would have given the G7 five stars if it had in body stabilization, but for the money it is certainly an impressive camera.

Probably the best camera for the money I have ever bought.
I have owned many digital cameras, and even some film cameras. Yes, I am that old. I have to say that the G7 is the best bang for the buck out of all of them. Great footage at a great price!
I assume most people are purchasing this camera to shoot 4k on a budget. If thats the case this is a great camera. The footage looks great and the camera is easy to shoot with. I have two of these cameras and for the price and what I film, I can't complain too much. For still photography I would buy Nikon but as far as 4k video these are great. I also own a Panasonic GH4, the big brother to this. I bought this as a B camera to my GH$ but I've noticed that the G7 has become my main camera especially in run and gun situations!

Pretty impressed so far.

Excellent camera to get if you are looking for a mid range slr type camera. Very good low light pictures. The lens it comes packaged with is very good. although a zoom lens is recommended and you will be set for everyday photography.

This camera is a great buy!
I purchased this camera in June of 2016 and since then is has performed flawlessly. It out-performs my Olympus EM-10 and Canon 60d, and is way lighter than the 60d. Pros: lightweight, mic port, flip out LCD, 4k recording, fast auto-focus Cons: my only gripe is with the 14-140mm lens, not the camera body. The lens performance in moderately low light conditions is less than stellar. Other than that, epic camera!

Can't recommend this enough for beginner video and B-cam
I haven't had a ton of time to play around with my new G7, as my current project is tied to a different camera, but so far it's already proven more valuable than the price tag. The video is unbelievable and the photos have been coming out crisp with accurate colors. Best Bang for Your Buck
I purchased the G7 for its video features. I've only used it for a week now but I must say it's one of the best purchases I've made! It's 4K resolution, even at low light, is exceptional even with just the Kit Lens (14-42mm).

Shoots amazing video and decent stills
This camera shoots astonishing video, the 4K is amazing and if you add a nice mic on top of that you'll get some awesome shots. The camera being only 16 megapixels was not the sharpest but I still enjoyed shooting stills with it. Overall love the camera.

Sold my a6000 and picked up a G7 (for a great price) and I couldn't be happier. I mostly use vintage glass, but man am I consistently surprised by this kit lens. It's sharp, compact, and the stabilization works very well. The biggest thing I was afraid of with the switch to MFT was loss of quality for photos. Perfect for me!
This camera is amazing. With the 14-140mm I don't need much more. I'm a wedding videographer and this is the perfect 2nd camera for me. To be honest, I could probably use it as a primary. The image quality is great!

I have used the g7 now for a month and have had nothing but good things to say about it. The camera looks great as well as performs great! 1080 at 60 is super smooth in slow motion, and 4K at 30 looks crystal clear!

For my 9 year old budding photographer
It's still early but this camera has more features than a computer server @NORAD... Everything is great and color balance is on par with the best cell phone systems. Wonderfull pics! For those who are curious about electronic viewfinders (EVF's), these thing will never be as good as a traditional pentaprism and will always have delay no matter how good they get. This is simply a required downside when choosing mirrorless, but the advantages for video are an absolute trade-off that is well worth it.
