First Impression - Big Features In Small Package
I have owned the GX7 and GX8 and I just received the GX9. I wanted a smaller 4k camera for street shooting and the GX9 is about the same size as the GX7. For discreet shooting I prefer this tilt up viewfinder to a swing-out articulated viewfinder. GX8 owners will be disappointed that It doesn't have the weather sealing and a mic input, but for my purposes I was willing to give up those features for the smaller size. Excellent camera for the size and price
I've been testing copy of this camera on loan to me from Panasonic ahead of the initial release, and I love it. It's not perfect, but I have never met a perfect camera. Specifications and hardware features aside, the camera feels solid, handles nicely and is intuitive enough that I don't have to go through a sharp learning curve when coming from a Canon pro-level body. SO happy they brought back the tilt-screen! SO much better for street photography than a flip-screen (which I prefer for video), in my opinion.
