Great Product: Just what we were looking for!
We use these discs to store digital photos. Recently we purchased a different brand. It took over 20 minutes just to prep the disc. Trying to download photos also took exorbitant amounts of time. We were frustrated!! The Maxell discs are fast and reliable.

Great for saving TV shows
I'm using these in my DVD recorder the same way I used to use VHS tapes in my VCR but the quality of these disks - even at the 8-hour setting - is much better than VHS ever was. It's easy to scan thru quickly and delete recordings to free up space/time for new recordings.

They're DVDs - they seemed to work!
I don't really burn DVDs any more - what's the point when there's DropBox, WeTransfer and a bunch of other secure file sharing services. Anyway, an older client said he had to have a DVD because he likes to get his prints at * and he doesn't trust the Internet because you never know who can see your pictures! The images were of a retirement home luncheon and healthcare seminar so I don't think the NSA, Wikileaks or 'Anonymous' would have been int... Show More

Only Brand I buy and trust
Use for recording movies. They are reliable and I'm very happy with the results. I have had problems but the amount is so small for all the movies I've taped I still wouldn't change.

jury still out
I purchased a total of 4 maxell DVD 15pk. Out of the 1st pk, only 5 were good. 10 gave a message that the there was a recording error, recording not available on this disc. The second pk. 4 were bad, still working on the others. Customer service was wonderful when I called to tell them my problem. They did credit me for the first pk. Since I can't find the 2x type in any stores, I would purchase again and take my chances.

Exceptional recording abilities!
I am using my Toshiba DR420KU DVD Video Recorder to record my favorite shows from PBS as in Masterpiece Theatre using the Maxell 4.7 GB Rewritable DVD-RW discs and the quality of recording from these discs is the greatest. I can format and rewrite with exceptional excellence on the second or third rewrite. I can say it is as close to High Definition as my television.

PERFECT - JUST WHAT I WANTED
I bought A LOT of DVD R-W packages because I didn't know how many I'd need. As it turned out I only needed the one package since they held so many videos. I'm transfering my old home movies to DVD and these work PERFECTLY. Thank you

Fine Product -- EZ to Use!
Great price on some very good blank DVDs. First time I've put something on a DVD and these worked great.

What a great product.
I was a long time hold out from switching from VCR's to DVD recorders. When it became to hard to get VHS tapes and VCR's for that matter (I use 3 of them on a daily basis) I finally switched to DVD's. Not knowing much about them I did some research and decided to try the DVD-RW 4.7GB Rewritable 2x Recordable DVD Disc (Spindle Pack of 15) by Maxell and I couldn't be happier. The price was right and they couldn't be easier to use. I reformat them daily and haven't worn one out yet. Thanks Maxell.

Great that these are still around ...
My VHS-to-DVD recorder is older and very picky about what DVDs it will accept. I've changed brands, tried different speeds -- nothing else seems to work with it but these 2x DVDs. I'm thankful that B&H still carries these DVDs -- when so many no longer do -- and their prices were great. They were cheaper than other places I found around that still carried this product.
