Extremely pleased with the Magic Pro
Outstanding machine - very capable, lots of features, and it behaves superbly. I reviewed a number of youtube videos and was able to fly it very successfully ever since my first flight. Very impressive flying camera!
Fun, easy to fly, great tool for the amateur videographer. Various flight modes available at the touch of a button.. Tripod and cinematic modes work well for those more intricate indoor and close quarter shots. Very stable even in a fairly steady breeze of 15 to 20 mph. Very impressed.

Better than expected
From all the reviews I read I expected an exceptional product; however, it was even better than I had thought it would be. Very easy to fly. The only negative is it came with minimal documentation, but there is a lot on line, both at DJI site and YouTube.

Simply the best
Sure you've got the inspire 2 and others for more in depth videography. Now that that's out of the way. This drone is epic, it's so small, my friend has the P4 and wow what a size difference. Run time is great, it's a champ in 20mph winds, it may be flying at an angle to keep a heading but the video is smooth. Awesome range, I've only taken it to 3,000ft but had no hesitation about it. Buy Buy Buy. But be responsible and don't ruin it for everyone else.

Slick, but a lack of information online about specific acces
Its compact and looks slick, but I was not aware it was not compatible with an iPhone 4 so I was a bit disappointed about this, as I now have to fork out another 300 on an iPhone6

Could not be happier with my Mavic Pro
I have had my Mavic for 2 weeks and could not be happier. The intelligent flight modes are fantastic. I was up and flying the first time I took it out. I was worried I was going to crash but it almost flies itself. Be sure and immerse yourself in all of the online Mavic videos available on the internet. This will give a complete understanding on the operation of your drone.

I would not buy this product again.
I have seen many a positive review on the DJI Mavic Pro, and am thoroughly disappointed with the Mavic. It does not get the speed that has been touted, stick control is not as responsive as the Phantom 4 Pro nor the Inspire. Banked turns are impossible. In a moderate breeze, the drone is not very stable...gets blown around pretty easily. Nice little drone to putz around with (for beginners) and possibly do indoor photography or videography. I would not waste my money again on this product...go to the Phantom 4 Pro if you want a nice, relatively inexpensive drone.

My first high end quad
The DJI Mavic Pro is the first high end quad I have purchased. I enjoy flying RC just for the thrill of flying. The Mavic is a little different to fly. It's a great platform for airial photo and video. I enjoy exploring the technology and capabilities behind the vehicle. So far I have enjoyed flying the Mavic and getting some new perspective views, but I think I am going to keep my Blade 350QX3 for sport flying.

Great except for the case.
First the good: The Mavic Pro is an amazing piece of kit. It's almost ridiculously stable, has all sorts of modes of operation which you can read about in many places. No need for me to detail them here. While it had me update the firmware for both drone and remote app before I could use it, it went without a hitch. Small but MIGHTY
Great aerial platform. The weight of it makes me hesitant to call it pro but the build quality is excellent. My biggest concern was the camera and gimbal are very light and wobble -a lot- when the gimbal is not active. But when it is, the shots are surprisingly smooth and steady. It's like magic. Lots of problems.
Bought this drone for its compact size and found two major problems. First, wave of ripples in every clip at every different setting and shutter is always twice the frame rate. There is even ripples inside the clip where the drone is not even in the air yet. None of the firmware fix the issue. Second issue, focus system is horrible. For the camera that size fail to focus correctly like phone cameras, pretty embarrass. There is no way dji produce product like this, must be a defective unit.

I'm in love
I reeeeaaalllly love my mavic! It is my first drone and I'm crazy trying to fly everytime I can. The possibilities are endless. Very good to do pan, tilt, simulate a slide and other camera moviments. The 4k is just awesome.

Best drone on the market in this size class!!!
The Mavic Pro is easy to fly and the controller is the right size! The added info screen on the controller allows the operator to see all flight info and the use of the phone as a screen makes this system compact and easy to take anywhere! If you are on the fence it is a great buy for anyone wanting to travel with a drone!

Very disappointed in set up procedures
I was greatly disappointed in the set up procedure. 1st, Instructions were darn near microscopic to try and read. Received a separate book with each component, so needed to jump back and forth from the drone book to the controller booklet. . Couldn't operate the unit until the controller was synced to the drone. Super easy to fly!
I have very little experience flying a drone but when you have this thing hooked up to your cellphone and are flying using the real time video feed it is just like playing a game. It is very easy to control and the smart features of the drone ensure you don't destroy even if you are an amateur. The video quality is great and with some practice you can get some great professional looking shots. I mainly bought this for the portability and I am very satisfied with the whole product.

Fun and useful. A LOT more portable than my inspire.
Received the unit just 2 days before leaving USA for north India on a shoot. One short test flight then off to Rishikesh. After calibration she flew great although top speed was 19mph. Stick control was jerky but a quick calibration smoothed that out. The ND filters were critical and image quality exceeded expectations for such a relatively low data rate. Got some gorgeous smooth shots.

Excellent as a Drone. DJI need to give option to disable NR
Very impressive as a drone for this price. However the image is terrible if you want to use ND filter to get motion blur. Too much NR applied and the picture is soft as watercolor. DJI refuses to address this issue and yet to deliver a software fix. Unacceptable! One possible work-around is the so called PAL reset. Too much trouble to go though....

Fun drone but horrible support
Bought this from DJI due to the long wait from 3rd party suppliers. Initially I was extremely impressed with my first drone. Great speed along with great fine control. Fantastic camera and good battery life. My bad was after their 1.03.0400 update I was having video feed failures and had a flyaway occur that caused my mavic to move left and up into a tree over a river. Good beginner drone.
Good begginer drone as it is very stable. You just have to constantly tap phone screen to focus. Camera is good compared to how small it is. Easy to fly. Cons are the weak spots, mainly the rear arm stoppers and the front landing stand. I got the fly more combo which has 2 extra batteries. The remote will run out of juice before you get to finish the 3rd battery.
