Screen big and bright enough for older eyes

This is really light weight for a powerful PC with a 17 screen. Everything I wanted. About the only negative so far is that the power brick (1) weighs as much as the laptop itself; and (2) the cord (from brick to PC) is way short, requiring me to keep the brick on the desk instead of the floor. Every other Asus product I've known, has a wonderfully small power brick with a really long DC cord. I wonder if there's such a thing as a DC power extens... Show Moreion cord? I set this up on a hospital table (google overbed table) with a second monitor (also Asus and also IPS) so I can work in bed when my back gives out.Show Less
