Fixed our issue - knocked it out of the park.
We have a terribly bright and reflective chapel sanctuary, along with a pulpit dangerously near (what I think) is an improperly angled FOH. After switching from a boundary mic (what was left by the previous 'engineer', also a Shure) to this one, 99% of my podium-narrator-speaker-headaches are vaporized.
