Great time saver
Allows me to share a large touch screen monitor between my mini workstation and my laptop. No more wasted time switching cables from one computer to the other.

The right device
I needed to share a (wired) USB mouse and keyboard between [2] computers. (My monitor has multiple video inputs, so I didnt need a full-blown KVM. This unit performs the job flawlessly, every time. Great piece!

Yes, I do like it!
So much so that I bought a second. Now instead of having to use a second keyboard/mouse when working on 2 computers at the same time, I use just my Logitech wireless keyboard and trackball and press the button to switch between computers. Life is good!

easy setup and use!
i use this to switch my ColorMunki monitor calibrator between 2 monitors. This particular switch comes with the USB cables to go my 2 computers as well as an external switch that i leave beside my keyboard. i've used many different switches in the past, but so far this one makes the most sense and is the easiest to use. I did not have to run out and find a couple of USB cables to set it up. I'm really happy with this switch.

Pretty good
I use this switcher to share my Corsair K70 keyboard and Logitech M705 mouse on a Windows7 box and a Linux (Ubuntu 14.04) box. So far no problem at all.

Share a Touch-Screen Didplay
I use it to share a touch-screen display and a webcam between two computers (Win 7 and Ubuntu). Because the touch screen stuff comes out as USB, and none of the KVM Plus switches I examined could do that extra job (they'd need 2x switchable USB B connections). This works just fine--I hit Scroll Lock twice to switch the display, kybd & mouse, then tap this button to switch all other USB peripherals.

IOGEAR 2x4 USB 2.0 Peripheral Switch
use to share monitor (via EVGA device which converts USB to VGA), and Logitech MK710 wireless keyboard and mouse combo. Works well, and like fact I can hide cables and just bring out pushbutton switch to activate. That said, a light on the switch would be a nice improvement for the next gen. Lights on hub itself to indicate which state the switch is in are of little use when I've hidden it away out of sight.

Works as expected
Using this to connect a keyboard and mouse so I can switch back and forth between controlling a PC and a Mac. It was a simple plug and play. Very useful.

Not what I had hoped for.
Purchased this to utilize with external harddrives and networking between desktop and laptop instead of slow wifi. Unfortunately did not power my portable drive which takes 2 usb ports(1 for power 1 for data)No AC power source-relies on computer usb, even with both computers and other two harddrives having their own power source this could not run my 2lead portable. Some concerns switching between computers may have been user error. This may be a good solution for some for networking though I had to take another route.
