You may pay less for a generic but the "real thing" definitely makes a difference. Have had no problems with HP products. They give you your money's worth right to the end.

I've learned long ago that it is best to use the manufacturer's OEM parts to extend the life of my printer, even with toner. The toner is manufactured to intergrate the best with the printer and bond better with the OEM paper. Toner that is listed as compatable with can work but the manufacturer is not using the same combination of chemicals or the same quality of materials. HP (or any other manufacturer) isn't going to share thier secrets. Thus compatable with is a reversed enginered product that is close but not the same.

Best Deal Around on HP 128A Toner
I used to buy HP 128A toner from Staples and Blue Dog Ink, but no other supplier I've found beats B&H Photo's prices and free shipping...and these are high quality OEM cartridges, not compatibles. Highly recommended.
