I followed directions, rubber bumpers down, when fully extended lays flat sane as controller. Will fold against controller to easily store. I assume you could reverse but would make difficult to store in one of the after market cases. Used with a DJI M210 V2 max distance at time of review 6000 feet in terrain, signal excellent.
