well, not just any battery. it is the intelligent flight battery for the DJI Mavic. it's the only one for the Mavic and you can't use it for anything but the Mavic (I think there's a battery to USB adapter but there are cheaper options for that kind of thing. If I only had the drone to go with...
Though I had ordered the Mavic a week before ordering the extra battery, I am now the proud owner of a super intelligent battery with nothing which to plug it in! As the drone still has yet to be sent, I decided to test out the intelligence level of this battery first hand. I am sad to say that the battery performed far below my original expectations. Should include charger
The battery itself is great: well-made and flight time is great. DJI doesn't include a plug/transformer with each battery purchase (nor separately as far as I know) so to charge multiple batteries requires using the plug/transformer that comes with the Mavic Pro and the charging hub (sold separately). But this takes a long time to charge multiple batteries, since it does them successively (one at a time), not concurrently (all at once). Charging four batteries using the hub takes 6 hours! Still, you gotta love the Mavic Pro!

2 New Mavic Batteries
I always use the maker's brand for replacement of components hence DJI Flight Batteries for my Mavic Pro. The only problem I have is all of the other components have the custom wraps on them. Now I have two new batteries that are Naked. Since the batteries are on the top part of the drone when it is flying I am the only person that will know they don't match the rest of the drone. Not sure I would pay for the decals as many of them are coming off and the adhesive is shot. Money down the tube. Batteries are fine however.

WORST BATTERY EVER!!!
I bought the mavic pro combo kit and two spare batteries. After 7-9 months using it, I have THREE batteries inflated. After reaching DJI, they said that nothing can be done because the warranty is only for 6 months. I said that I wanted to buy more batteries and asked for a discount, but I didnt give me. I ALWAYS store and use my batteries properly (I have a Nanuk hard case). I love my mavic pro but I am very upset with this situation.

Spare battery for more fun.
My battery arrived quickly and in perfect condition. I immediately charged it to full power. Then I installed it in my Mavic and updated the battery firmware. Everything worked as it should. I'm happy to have a second battery to double my fun with my Mavic. I'll probably get one or two more in the near future. B&H packed it for safe shipping and sent it out promptly. I'm very satisfied with the service and my purchase.

2nd Battery needed
If you want to play/work with Mavic Quadcopter, a 2nd battery is a necessity. When you are into an activity of flying Mavic, you probably want to finish the activity like do a 2nd take of the video shots or if you only have an hour to fly the drone. If you don't have the 2nd battery, you have either wait for another 2 hours to recharge the battery or wait for another day to fly again.

It's a new battery in a new box, not much to say
There seemed to be some type of white smudgy film across the top of the three batteries. I was able to wipe most of it off, but there still seems to be some slightly noticeable film left. They've worked just fine (I mean, they're just batteries) for the last two weeks since purchasing them. Eventually, I'll pull out some rubbing alcohol and clean them up some more.

You are going to need an extra battery for the Mavic
You are going to need more than one battery for the Mavic - it's just so fun to fly and takes some time to search around for the shot and then to nail it while recording, that the battery can run down before you know it. I bought this extra battery and it worked just like it was supposed to - charge time and fly time was exactly the same as the original battery.

I had just bought my Mavic but accessories for it were so scarce almost no one had anything in stock, only back orders (Including the DJI site) . Extra Battery
You need at least one extra battery for increased flight time with the Mavic. I received this one from B/H at a good price with free shipping and it was packaged well. These batteries will give me 20-25 minutes flight time. Smartly designed with quality materials, a great addition to the backpack and I love the low profile!

DJI Battery Blues
Worked for 5 charges then battery cell is broken this of course happened after the 6 month warranty period. From research this not an isolated occurrence. I dont understand why DJI (or B&H or Best Buy) is not concerned about this and replace these and do a failure analysis of these premature failures. Greatly disappointed.

Fly with confidence
Battery works as advertised. Quickly arrived and after charging I took them for a test flight. They run well and a bit warm which is completely normal. Run time is excellent (got close to 23 mins before receiving 25% battery warning.) Highly recommend having at least 2 extra batteries ready to go with your Mavic Pro.

A must have accessory
A must have accessory which give you extra 18-20 minutes of flight time. But the DJI Mavic and ordered two extra batteries. That should be enough for about a hour of flight. or all day of flying if you are taking selective shots or clips.

You'll Need an Extra
We bought a spare battery for our kit -- and for most of my needs this should do it. They list 27 minutes as the flight time, but that's in ideal situations. Count on 20 and if you're doing sport mode, less. These charge fairly rapidly.

I would buy another one when I'm on the road trip.
This battery is definitely one of my favorite. It discharges automatically and you can set how many days before it starts discharging. For Mavic Pro, this is essential! Get at least two with you. The flight time is about 22 mins.

Battery Lifetime in the Cold Months
I have three of these and they last about 22 minutes in 10-15 degrees F. They work great, couldn't ask for more flying time in those temperatures. Hopefully that means I'm looking at 25+ minutes during the warm months!

Didn't even last 5 months!!!
Battery stopped working for no reason after 5 months. When I contacted DJI for warranty I had missed the deadline by a few days and they refused to help. Not impressed.

Mavic Pro Battery for Pro Platinum
For whatever reason these are $10.00 cheaper then the Pro Platinum Batteries but they work just as the original does. I see absolutely no difference in the batteries.
