Perfect fit
The cushions on my HD565s has deteriorated over the years to the point that the headphones were unusable. With these replacement cushions, they are like new, saving me the hundreds of dollars I would have spent buying new headphones. Easy to install and fit perfectly.

Original replacement part; revitalized my beloved HD545!
This part is original but is no longer available from Sennheiser; I'm so glad B&H still stocks them! I love my HD545 headphones but the thin foam sheet covering the transducers of the earpieces had disintegrated over the years and the cord connectors were intermittent. Much better than buying new cans
Ridiculously expensive pieces of foam, but many times cheaper than replacing the headphones (HD650s in my case). There are no instructions. Pull the old foam cushions straight off. Align the replacement foam speaker covers and press the new ones on. Be careful not to bend the outer grills when pressing them on. That should do for another five years or so...

Good: Replaceable Bad: Cost
To install push very hard; very tight fit with new foam (dry fitting without foam 3/4 times worked best).B&H had best price; prior purchases with them has always been care free,as this was.The foam in the ear piece itself is soft for comfort but breaks down easy. Guess better than having old foam or tossing the cans away.Purchased cans for replacement features but the cost seems high; low volume means higher resale.

Great way to spruce up your old cans
Wanted a new pair of HD-650's but they were $$and my old HD-580 still sound great. With some new replacement cushons and headbands, my old awesome headphones are like new again. Definitely recommend these products.

Good quality, easy fit
Genuine Sennheiser ear cushions and foam pads. Perfect fit, installs in two minutes with your bare hands. Bought this (along with another set) to breath new life into my trusty HD580's. Saved a few bucks compared to ordering directly from Sennheiser.

My headphones good as new
I have old head phones Sennheiser HD 545. I purchased earpads and replaced old ones. It was very easy to replace it. Now head phones are as good as new. Great.

Great replacement, just like new
In order to replace the headband you have to pop one of the two plastic pieces that hold it in place. Slide out the old headband, slide in the new and pop the plastic piece back into place. Good as new.

Make your headphones new again
The original cushions on my 580s lasted a good 8 years, but foam doesn't last forever. These replacement cushions made my old cans feel factory fresh.

Replacement ear cushions

A bit pricey but wotrh it
I hate it when companies hold their customers hostage for service parts, but once you get past that, refreshing the earpads and headband are just worth doing: it brings back the comfort and overall listening experience from when the cans were new. Come to think of it, these heapdhones will probably last forever: better to occasionally replace the earpads than to replace the phones entirely. Maybe not such a bad deal after all.

Great accessory
These cushions are fantastic! My 13-year old HD-565 Ovation headphones once again look and feel like new. The replacement was a breeze and now I'm using my faithful old cans more than ever.

Fit great, but no instructions
These replaced a decade-old set of cushions on my HD545s. The replacement pads fit correctly, but are definitely stiffer than the original cushions (although that could just be a couple thousand hours less wear...). They fit great and replacement was pretty easy. But be aware that they do not come with installation instructions. You need to find those on the web.

New cushions revive aging headphones
These are OEM cushions that fit perfectly and restored my 580's to like-new comfort and sonics. I hadn't realized that the foam in my original cushions had gone soft and were therefore not making a good seal around my ears. These cushions will bring your old cans back to life.

Drop-in Replacement
These are pricey, but even at this price, they're a great way to refurbish a well-loved old set and avoid spending hundreds on new cans. I knew I needed new pads, but I was a little surprised to realize just how much my 10- year-old original HD580 pads had degraded compared with the replacements. The new ones were easy to fit and feel just like new -- very comfortable. Be sure and replace your headband pads at the same time, if needed. My headband pads were almost flat.
