exactly what you expect
These earpads, made by Sennheiser, appear to be exactly the same as the originals. They fit the same and feel the same on the ear. The HD-414s are such great headphones, its well worth it to restore them to like-new condition. As usual, B&H handled the order flawlessly.

Perfect replacement
I use the earpads for my HD 414 headphones and they work just like the original earpads. Replacing the old earpads is very easy and the new ones fit like they were made for the headphones. I use the headphones with my stereo, computer, and television.

Saved My Old Headphones
Best price on the market and quick shipping, even during the holidays. These headphones always sounded good and the open air design made them easy to use for hours. I shelved them when the pads wore out and I upgraded to some more expensive headphones. This Christmas we bought my son a modest stereo system for his dorm room. After spending a little bit more than usual we could put some icing on that cake with these phones, just by buying these inexpensive soft and comfy pads. I almost kept them for myself.

Yellow!
Bought for Grado but I really dont think they are the perfect replacement. I would just cough up the extra $5 next time and get the real thing. They are cozy. You lose that bass extension from the grado stock cups but gain it back due to being closer to the ear. unfortunately you also get more treble but thats tamed by keeping the foam covering the driver.

I would buy this product again and again
I own the HD 414 Headphone Set and cannot use it without these styrofoam ear pads. I am glad that B&H sells them for a much lower price than other retail outlets.

Just like new!
These foam earpads are a perfect replacement for the original set. Of course, they are made by Sennheiser specifically for the HD-414 headphones, so you would expect them to be a perfect match. It still amazes me that Sennheiser continues to make quality replacement parts for a product that has been out of production for more than 30 years! B&H Photo had the best price around as well. All in all, very satisfied!

Work great!
I purchased these to replace the pads on my Grado SR 60 headphones. They seem to improve the ear cup fit and sound. I cut a quarter sized hole in the middle of each one.

Fits Grado SR80s
If you're looking for pads to replace those that came with the Grado SR80s, these work well. Sound just fine without any modifications, and probably slightly comfier, to.

Good for Grado
I use these as a replacement for the pads on my Grado S80s, which were starting to crumble. I find these considerably more comfortable than the original pads, and a huge bargain even with shipping! It's possible that they tame that notorious Grado treble a little, being disk-shaped rather than O-ring shaped. I will try the quarter mod (cut quarter-size holes in them) if I decide it's a real problem.

The Originals
The earpads for my pair of Sennheiser HD 414 headphones had deteriorated years ago and I had no idea they were still available. But these are the originals, as proven by their original sealed Sennheiser packaging. The replacements fit perfectly and I'm a happy puppy again.

After hearing considerable praise regarding these little ear pads i set out to find a pair that i intended to use with my Grado Headphones. The oem pads were falling apart and the price from the manufacturer to replace seemed a little high. I learned about the reverse quarter mod on one of the Hi - Fi forums and thought i would give these a try. B & h had the cheapest prices by far(i beleive Amazon was almost DOUBLE the price!)Anyways they work great, shipping was quick and the price was right. Best site to order from by far..

Finally--I can listen with my Grados!!
I am not sure why it took my long to get these replacement cushions. While I LOVE my Grados SR225i's, I always get sore ears within an hour as the ear pads weren't big enough. A quick side note is if you're going to get some headphones, get any Grados that you can afford--definitely worth it. While it is yellow, I don't mind. In summary, get these if you're looking for some great pads that will allow you to listen longer with your Grados.

Grado Labs SR80
I actually used these for my grado labs SR80 head phones whose ear pads had terribly crumbled (and where never that comfortable to start with). These replacement ear pad (although not meant for my headset) did a marvelous job, they are comfortable and fit well. The yellow also looks kinda cool :)

These are the ones to get for your Grados. As long as you don't mind the yellow, though I kinda like the funky look. Much better than what comes with Grado cans...
