Samsung Evo amazing
Since I started using 860 Evo I have had amazing boot up times and super fast gaming experience. I highly recommend this drive and B&H is super great with prices and shipping. Not sure about customer support because I have never gotten any defective products from here!!

Bad purchase at $327
Used this ssd as boot drive and it worked great till it failed at 11 months. Do not recommend this drive. Too expensive and did not hold up. I do plan to contact Samsung about the 5 year warranty? B&H has supported as well as they can and I do recommend using B&H. They always given me great service.

Super SSD
This is my third Samsung SSD purchase...all of them are great. The Samsung Data Migration software makes cloning effortless and the Magician software takes care of all the drive management. And of course B & H is where I bought all three of them...nothing compares to their prices and delivery.

Seamless experience
I bought this SSD since I was running out of disk space on a 6+ year old Dell XPS 8500. Received this yesterday and installed it in an empty drive slot, hooked it up to an open SATA port, and ran the Sony Data Migration application which cloned my existing 1 TB system drive to the SSD. Very happy with performance
Bought 2 Samsung 860 2TB SSD drives to perform caching in my Synology 1819 NAS, working great and a big improvement over the three raw 10 gb hard disk drive speed. Also, thank you B&h for verifying that the Samsung 2 TB 860 EVO SSD drives were supported by Synology.

Great upgrade from HDD
The outer yellow package was little beat up, but the internal box of the SSD was fine. Speed of SSD was extremely fast compare to 7200rpm HDD. It is a great upgrade from HDD if you only have HDD. ** Be aware that it only includes SSD.

Solid choice for a variety of devices
This is not a cheap drive and this case you get what you pay for. It is reasonably fast and durable. For average-load work cases it works great. If you don't have an SSD in your computer this will make a nice boot drive. I use mine as work area for working with and archiving Photoshop projects. You can't beat an SSD for speed and this has quite a bit of capacity. This is an excellent mid/high end SSD. Recommended.

I can't believe how quick my SSD arrived. I think it was 2 days from when I ordered it. And although I haven't had a chance to install it yet, I am confident it will be great as I only use Samsung SSD drives in all of my builds.

If you need a fast large capacity SSD, you really don't have many choices. Choose this over the non-pro version because you do not want to sacrifice reliability.

Best SSD for Mac (at least!)
I have tried other brands on my different Macs and none of them are as dependable, as fast, and as compatible as these EVO's from Samsung. I highly recommend them.

PS4 Upgrade Drive
I put this in my PS4 Slim. If you have any issues with menu lag or textures taking a long time to load when a game starts, this is the fix. Ive been extremely happy with the speed results. PS4 starts up in 10 seconds if completely shut off and 6 seconds starting out of rest mode. Menu lag is completely gone. Incredibly easy to install using instructions on Sonys Support site. Cant recommend this upgrade enough. I cant imagine how much better performance will be in a PC as well.

So far so good. Also, downloading the samsung magician tool feom the manufacturer allowed me to clone the diak completelly, without leaving windows and it even cloned the MBR via usb. So that tool is also an asset

Game Changer for my iMac
I swapped this SSD in to replace the original HDD that came in my iMac and it was a complete game changer. Boot time in under 10 seconds vs minutes. Applications open close and function as they should and no longer does the computer hang up on every little command. It is has to be the best mod for iMacs equipped with the 1TB HDD.

Great Drive
For price, performance, dependability, and warranty the Sam Song 860 Evo line is the way to go! Just remember there are a separate set of do's n don'ts rules for SSDs from mechanical HDs you can look them up online

It's like a whole new laptop
I never realized how much of a bottleneck disk I/O could be. On a multi-core laptop with a standard HD running VMs was painful. With the SSD upgrade, I don't even notice that they are running.

Performs Perfectly
With a guarantee of 5 years, I have no doubt this will be a solid purchase. I could have gotten a 1tb for a little over the price of this drive with another manufacturer, but I have too many drives crash in my life, and I invest in reliability over bang for buck. I've had it for a week and it just behaves like a fast SSD. Nothing to report there. Although tests show that for files over 25gb things keep writing at the same speed vs other options. IMO - If you value reliability, get one.

MacBook pro mid-2012 starts in 45 secs now!
have been running my mid-2012 MacBook pro laptop with a 1TB 4 year old hard drive that was upgraded thru apple. when i turned on laptop waited then clicked on mail and lightroom applications to open, I was timing it at 5 min and 40 secs.
