Easy purchase decision
I have previously purchased the 840 Pro in 256 GB and 512 GB sizes. Needing a larger sample drive, I opted for a 1TB 860 EVO. Performance and build quality are reasonably on par with the pro versions for a significantly lower price. Solid product.

Not Detected by Samsung Clone SW
Samsung Magician software ,which is the only tool available for this SSSD to clone, can not find the SSD EVO 860. No enough resources or solution online.

Great Drive!
Installed in my Toshiba L55 laptop, cloned the Toshiba 128GB SSD to the Samsung 500GB EVO 2.5" SSD using the downloadable Samsung Data Migration software, EVO installed and booted up with all the new extra space, Windows 10 shows 465GB, took about two hours for the clone, disassemble, dust cleaning, install, reassembly, and first boot. Nice, no surprises! Installed the Samsung Magician Software which handles the firmware updates and options, made my choices, and then set the Magician for manual start.

Excellent SSD
Just an upgrade from the 256 GB, I had in my computer. Sales agent was knowledgeable and price very reasonable. I received the item in a couple of days from their office in New York to West Coast.. 3000 Miles in a couple of days.. Quick service and top of the line products.. I will definitely buy more items from B&H in the future..
