Set it up right
Set this rig up right and it will do all the work for you. I find that it takes a lot of fiddling with to find that right spot, but when you get it, gravity pushes most of the weight of the camera into your chest, and your hands end up just being the guiding force for the camera. Note: The way I have it set up is opposite as the photo, the 8 Grip rod is underslung, as well as the microMount. Still on the right side though.

Very nice rig! - but too expensive
I use this product with my Canon 5d Mark II for event and commercial video. At wide lengths, this rig is extremely steady and easy to move around. Seems like it should work better
I bought this for wedding video work and found it to be very limited. Unless I'm missing something on its use. I searched the forums and how to's that were available and there just isn't much about it. I tweeted looking for other users and none replied. I found it hard to hold steady even with the support. For $there must be a better device, perhaps the Merlin.I'm not giving up on it till I've used it some more.

Seemed exciting at first, but.....
Seemed great until you get the grips with the configuration. Note that the 3 viefinder is NOT included. Then you come back to tera firma.
