Works as advertised
B&H support was helpful in selecting the model (I wanted a more expensive headset but they told me it would not work with the phone they instead recommended a less expensive one coupled with this part) and Plantronics support was exemplary they pick up the phone after a couple of rings and the person who picks up is the person who helps you. (There was a problem because the phone manufacturer did not properly describe the phone on its website a $10 part fixed the problem.)

Plantronics APP-51 Headset connector
The Plantronics APP-51 is specially designed for the CO53 wireless headset and it's connection layout. No More Lifters
We are using Polycom vvx 400 phones with lifters for our headsets. The lifters do not always work correctly. With this cable you no longer need a lifter and you can hear incoming calls in your headset if you are away from you desk. We bought one as a test and will be buying more to replace all the lifter on our phones.

Simply works
Using to connect a Plantronics CS510 wireless headset to a Polycom SoundPointIP 331 phone. The settings on the phone needed some simple tweaking to get the hookswitch working, but once configured it works flawlessly.

Useful if you don't want to be stuck by phone
I have a large office and can't always be by the phone to lift off hook and this is the perfect solution. No physical lifter so less clutter, although regardless you will have lots of wires.

Just what we needed
This product works in conjunction with our Polycom wireless headsets. We had a manual switch hook before but this is much better. We will purchase more of these when we add more users.
