The G7 is not my first mirrorless and I have used dslrs in the past, but all of those pale in comparison to the video quality of this camera. This is the first camera I've purchased. The 4k video is crystal clear and the colors are fantastic. The autofocus is off at times so keep an eye on focus if you use that setting. Excellent for video and good for stills
I'm impressed with the camera for the on sale price range. Got the silver version looks good and like the retro styling. All buttons and knobs are on par with price range, beginner DSLR ish. Absolutely Excellent!
I've quickly fell in love with my Panasonic Lumix G7. Photo quality is excellent, even with the kit lens. I will be purchasing more lenses in the near future, but for now, the kit is very good. Love the versatility for shooting video. I produce local TV commercials, and this Lumix G7 is working out GREAT! I couldn't be happier.

I originally purchased the Lumix GX8 to replace my G6 - I thought I would like the form factor of the rangefinder, as I had a GF2. Although the GX8 did a lot of things well, it was a bit to big for me to take out with me on mountain bike rides and on hikes. I decided to forgo the weather sealing in favor of this camera. Best affordable 4K vlogging camera
As of early 2016, it's difficult to find a 4K vlogging camera that is: affordable, has an external mic port, and has a flip out camera. This is the only one I found. I recently purchased this camera as i want to learn and make some videos not only i was surprised about the video capability of this camera but also the image quality is really good. One Great Camera
This is a very sweet little camera, especially for the money paid. The G7 offers a level of customisation unheard of for the price. It takes a while to learn to set it up but once there everything you need or want is at your finger tips. The photo's right up to 16x20 are impeccable, 11x14 and under are exquisite. The one thing I do miss with the smaller sensor is the smooth and extended dynamic range of an aps-c or full frame offering. I don't miss the size, cost of lenses, and weight of the larger cameras so...For me, the G7 is quite perfect. Five Stars. No question!

Nice camera. Very versatile and great photos.
I've had this for a couple of months and am really enjoying not having to carry my Nikon DSLR anymore. For what I do it's almost perfect. It would be absolutely spot on if it had a motorized zoom, and GPS receiver. There is the ability to use an App to record and upload location information, but it's not easy to use and a few times the location information has not transferred and then wiped from my phone, losing it.

Great camera and bundle
This is a perfect camera for shooting video in 4k, as well as a handy little camera for still photography. Whether you are an amateur or professional, I would recommend it. I've recently been using for YouTube videos and it doesn't disappoint. I came from a DSLR background and I appreciate the low light capabilities of the mirror less cameras. With a bundle containing all the necessities (minus a good external mic) for a low price I would definitely recommend the G7 bundle!

This is a gorgeous 4k camera. I actually prefer it over the gh4 due to it's light weight. It does not have a headphone out however, so I would recommend an external audio interface.

AMAZING AS A 4K VIDEO CAMERA
I was attracted to this camera for its ability to shoot 4K video as well a wide assortment of still possibilities. Coming from a canon 70D I was wanting something that took better video but wasn't expensive. Though the canon takes better pictures, video from the g7 is remarkable.

I'm new to this level of camera so I'm doing my learning on it and so far it's been great. I do highly recommend the 14-140 lens. You get 10x optical zoom and I do find myself using it all frequently. Like anything this complicated I've had to rely on web videos to help me learn it but if you make google your friend there's plenty of resources out there. Exceeds expectations!
As someone trying to convert to lighter gear as I get older, I've found the m4/3rds format to be a good compromise. However, until the G7, none of my M43 gear gave a decent keeper rate for continuous AF of sports. Admittedly, I don't have a G4, but I do have an Oly E-P5 and E-M5 Mark ii. The Lumix DMC-G7 is a great camera for starters
I use this product for video and love the 4k features. I went from a T3i body and pancake lens to the G7 and Canon FD prime lenses using the Roxsen focal reducer mount. For this cheap you can't beat the price. I eventually want to upgrade to the GH4, or GH5 if it's out by then. If I had a complaint it'd be the 2x crop factor. It stinks, but I knew what I was getting before I got it.
