I am on my second unit, the first which failed after just over 12 months of use, and this one which is failing reading BluRay discs after only eight months. While I intend to contact LG about replacement, I am disappointed with the quality of these drives.

blue ray burn process halt with error and it doesnt work
After I put all parts together and tried to burn blue ray, error pop up massage come up and halt burning process. I have external blue ray burner and I completed the job I had at hand. I dont recommend to any one.

Works for me.
So far I have only had trouble with one Blu-ray not reading. Not sure why because the same disc plays fine on my ps4. Two others for some reason wont rip. But that is out of probably a couple hundred discs with a mix of dvd and Blu-ray. Didnt have to install any software. Running windows 10.
