AMAZING display
Had mine for a while now, it's been nothing short of amazing. Bright display, colours are great, contrast ratio is good for an IPS display. It is amazingly immersive. Just make sure your system is capable of pushing 144fps in the games you play for the best experience!

Gorgeous, fills up a desk
beautiful display, can't wait to pair it with a gpu which can actually drive it. No dead pixels, good OSD. Make sure to update your firmware using the downstream USB. Good adjustments on the stand, only drawback is its quite a large footprint

Vertical lines!
Unbox, hook it up, and a thick band of vertical lines appear. I guarantee it's not GPU problem (happens even before i plug the DP in). Very disappointed. Since I live in Canada it makes things even more complicated to return or repair.

Great fun, but mind the cable and firmware
I will parrot all the pros mentioned elsewhere: big, fast, great color. I won't claim any gains in my gaming ability, but it just feels so gamer-tastic that it hardly matters. Normal IPS cons also apply: slight glow, not the fastest pixel response out there, (but still pretty darn quick), some backlight bleed. MicroLED can't come soon enough.
I've tried a few high refresh rate monitors now and the tech simply is not there to provide a truly great experience IMO. You have to compromise some mix of contrast, motion clarity, and color reproduction, not to mention panel lottery given and inconsistency between monitors in the same model line. A Worthwhile Upgrade
I went from a 32 1440p 144Hz to this 34 monitor and the difference is noticeable. The extra viewing helps in game and just wide enough to fit on my desk.

Only thing to do is download the onscreen controls. Also end the task in task manager or it will minimize games you try to play.

I have a 32 Samsung 1440p 144Hz HDR, this is so much better. Colors just pop out BV run beautiful and smooth very nice. I am glad I listened to Linus for this great monitor and others.

Bad pixels even after LG Warranty Repair
I purchased this thinking that it was going to be high quality monitor. Well I was wrong, this monitor had a cluster of dead pixels towards the center. So I contacted LG and sent it in for repairs. When the monitor was returned, It was worse than before. There are more dead pixels and a tremendous amount of back-light bleed. Now I am going to try to get it repaired again. I feel like I am not stuck in a trap of endless repairs until my 1 year warranty expires and I'm stuck with this panel. Do not buy this monitor!!!

Rich color, features, speed
Originally bought a HP Envy 34 as a combination work monitor / gaming monitor. The contrast and color saturation is night and day between the IPS panel of the LG and the lesser range of the panel of the Envy. The Envy is great for business work, but this panel works equally as well if you don't need the built-in audio and web cam of the HP, plus the richness of color and customization of features pushes this monitor well ahead of a panel like the HP for gaming.

Theres a lot to like about this monitor but if I could I would rate this around 4.5 stars. Like I said, excellent gaming monitor. Had it for about a month now, no issues out of the box. Gsync works great once you update the drivers. The colors really pop and very bright. I only have two negative things to say about it. Dont buy it only for the HDR feature. I own most of the HDR titles out now and the only one that looks amazing with HDR turned on is The Division 2. I got a 2560x1440 monitor at 144 Hz; but I wanted a bigger screen size. The first thing I discovered though with this new one is it needs a 1.4 display port, or one wont get the 120 or 144 Hz, and this monitors higher extra functions. I fixed that.
