Been using this 34 display for three days now and honestly I'm impressed. Excellent for home office use and productivity
Excellent addition to our home office. Had a 27 flat monitor previously and we purchased this to increase screen real estate. Our use is mostly for routine office applications (Word, Excel), web-related (Safari) and messaging/email. Amazing!
I have had this monitor for about a week now and just amazed at how beautiful it is. I am a programer so its like having 3 monitors in one and much better then my previous two monitor setup. Scope of usage: Mac (thunderbolt) and Windows (HDMI), business apps, application development, and X-Plane flight simulation. Pro's: fantastic color quality, USB hub can be fed via thunderbolt cable (without USB up cable). Con's: Does not auto-detect which video port is active (have two switch it manually). Totally worth it if you work in some type of media.
I work in video and music production. This monitor is perfect for it. I used to work with a rather warm and aging dual monitor setup and this thing makes my set up much cleaner. The immersive curve really sets you right up to work, watch or browse. It's definitely a must have for those who love having the work space and like to work in full screen in each application. You won't regret the 21:9 aspect ratio. If I had to give some negatives, the usb port in the back does not rapid charge any of my devices but then again I don't like sticking my phone in out of ports in the back of a monitor.

Excellent Monitor
Got this a couple of weeks ago to use with my Mac Pro and it really is beautiful and functional for my needs in advertising. As apple no longer makes monitors for their top of the line computers I would recommend LG as an excellent alternative. Do not get a Mac 27 thunderbolt as I went through 2 of them quickly as they just stopped working. Funny how they make a 5K monitor for the iMac but nothing of the Mac Pro. Think that pay cut for Tim Cook should have been more! LOL! Thanks to B&H and their quick service I was able to get this right away.

Love, Love, Love the monitor. I also have two Apple Cinema monitors. I was afraid when I orderd the curved LG 34UC98-W that it might not have as good a resolution as the Apple Cinema. This monitor is as impressive, or maybe even more so than the Apple Cinema monitors. I use it as an external monitor connected to a MacBook Pro with Retina. Very, very pleased with the quality of the images .... no visible pixelation. The curved part makes it more cutting edge, up to date technology.

Beautiful Monitor, Great for Gaming
This is a well-designed and beautiful QHD monitor that is perfect for gamers or those looking for more viewing space. This was a steal on sale and I highly recommend it. The only improvement would be if it were higher resolution, but that would also make it more expensive. Arrived well-packed and in a 2nd factory-sealed box with no damage, but had a small area where there was no screen coating (or it had been rubbed off). LG quality issue, not B&H.

Focus in center, changes whole work flow
I replaced side by side 20 monitors with this one curved monitor. Changed my whole workflow in Lightroom, Premier and Photoshop. Now I can center my active work and set the control panels to left and right. Really amazingly better than looking right at image, then back left to controls and back and forth. Also sharper at 1400 lines high compared to 1080 of old monitors. Like having a new computer!

I ordered my uc98 LG had a delay on the arriving time but that was UPS fault (cyber week issue). I called to verify here what was happening. and they were really helpful on every single phone call I made. the product arrived, very happy with the display at the moment, I recommend this website they are located at NY Good thing, :)

Better than Flat
I have used the flat LG 34 inch one for years. I'm a software developer and the extra real estate is essential. The flat one on the edges always seemed like a distant scan for my eyes. The curved one solves that. the only complaint is that it takes a really long time to wake up!

I would buy again
Awesome monitor. Native software no better than stuff I already had on my Mac. Fast response. Speaker is ok, not great. USB ports are a nice addition for running my bose speaker and my wacom tablet. Colors are great. Overall, very happy.

A Year Later, Still impressed.
Ive had this monitor for almost a year and have more than gotten my money back out of it, its a dream for any video editor. Im just looking for a hardcase to be able to travel more freely with it on a airplane for shipping purposes.

I got this monitor so I can connect both a Mac and PC which works great including controlling both with a single keyboard and mouse. Really awesome feature. Also just a great monitor when using with just the MacBook Pro. Love it.

Nice display
Huge fan of 3440x1440 for medical charting. If you use Epic, you simply havent lived until youve seen three pages across in widescreen. Black uniformity isnt perfect but its a very nice display.

I had 27inch 4K Dell, replaced with this . Loving it with Thunderbolt can get 10bit. I calibrated with Spyder-got 100% RGB and detail analysis it gave 4 star. Best Buy
