Simple, elegant KVM solution
This is an inexpensive, simple yet elegant solution to connecting two PCs to a single monitor, keyboard, and mouse. And by combining the keyboard and mouse cables into one USB connection, you gain a USB connection on your PCs. Just a push of the button and you switch from one to the other. It's that simple. One PC is Windows XP, the other is Windows 7. The first time connecting I needed to unplug and replug the keyboard and mouse to get the PC to see them, but only the first time. Now I just push the button. Simple yet elegant.

It works
This switch works as advertised for sharing a keyboard, tablet/mouse, and monitor between computers. There is a short pause while switching, but nothing excessive or bothersome. My only issue is that one of my laptops has USB and VGA ports on opposite sides and the cables are barely long enough to accommodate this. I need to run one over the laptop keyboard, and it still hardly reaches. It's even harder with the laptop closed. It would be nicer if the cable was long enough to run around the back from one side to the other.

Good Buy!
I've only had it for a month, but it works exactly like it says. I have my personal laptop and work desktop plugged into the same monitor, mouse, and key board. I read some reviews about poor quality to monitor - this is probably because the user did not plug in the USB connections. It needs to draw power from USB so make sure both are plugged in to both computers.

Great value, easy to use
I'm using this to connect a single monitor, USB mouse and USB keyboard to two PCs. It's very easy to use: Just plug the monitor, mouse and keyboard into the KVM, then plug the KVM's built-in cables into each PC. No software to install. Boot both PCs and hit the switch on the KVM to switch from one to the other. Very inexpensive, and it saves space.

Perfect solution
Perfect solution for running two computers (e.g., laptop and desktop) on a single monitor, with a bonus of using one keyboard and mouse for both. Simple A-B switch with lighted indicator showing which CPU is in use. Much superior to splitter, which increases interference and cuts resolution.

Works great!
I use this KVM to share my monitor with my computer and my Xbox 360. The USB ports in the front come in handy when I need to quickly connect a device. One short coming was that to connect my 360 I needed to add a VGA gender changer to the cable.(but that was my own short site)

Great Invention!
I needed a product like this to divide my work, using two computers, one for standard use and one for filming. Since editing takes a great deal of disk space, this was a great solution. It took some time to find a place for it.
