HP Z2 G4 Small Form Factor Workstation

Great for photo editing, but may require some set-up

I picked this PC for photo editing for its combination of speed, compact size, and expandability. It is very fast. Its configured with a 256Gb solid state drive, which I knew would be too small for my photo files. I bought a 2 Tb internal hard drive, and then found the PC has power plugs and cables for 3 Serial ATA connections, but not the data cables. The HDD didnt come with a data cable either. If you know you will use the cloud for all storage... Show More, this may not be a problem. This PC is clearly designed to be a professional, and not a consumer, product. Documentation is minimal, and there was no bloatware (Yay!). The compact size will apparently restrict the choice of graphics cards available, although so far the built-in graphics capability seems to be well able to handle the demands of photo editing.Show Less
