Perfect solution for stereo
This is great for casual listening on my old stereo receiver when I am around the house. I have the convenience of using my phone to supply the music and the pleasure of hearing it on my good speakers. Of course there is the usual Bluetooth loss of quality, but I wouldnt use this if I am going to sit and really listen to music anyway. The range is good on this receiverI can use it from the next room without the signal dropping out. Battery life i... Show More

It works!
The unit seems pretty rugged and simple. Charge it up before first use, hold the center button to power up & down, link with your phone/tablet/laptop and you're good to go! The range is good - even cuts through walls at my workplace. Beyond 20 yards it may start to cut out but within that radius you get to roam wherever you like. It seems to need waking up if you pause the music for too long while not charging. All reasonable behaviors. I'm sorry I waited this long to get this!

Simple device. Results as advertized
I have a fairly old stereo receiver with a nice set of Advent Speakers from the 70s. Most of the music I listen to these days is streamed and my receiver lacks Bluetooth capability. I saw this device on the daily deals and decided to give it a try. The only difficulty I had was figuring out that the device would not pair if it was connected to the receiver and the receiver was on. Since I got the startup sequence right, it has performed flawlessly. It has clearly met my needs

Works well
It was easy to set up and works fine from both my phone and computer. I use it to stream into my stereo system which then enables me to both listen and easily record streams, like streaming radio or Podcasts. This can also be used to stream from a phone or Pad into a car stereo, providing the car stereo has an input jack. The analog fidelity out is not phenomenal, but still amazing for the price. But in fairness, a really good D-to-A converter can cost $1000.

Perfect
This is hooked into the sound system at work so I can play Spotify or YouTube or whatever from my phone without a cord. Easily adapts older non-bluetooth products. Pairs easily, connects quickly. After fully charging it ran over 8 hours at work on a charge, however I keep it on usb charger most of the time. I occasionally unhook power/charger cord to keep the battery in shape. Some device control on buttons. Deal of the Day price was great!

Handy but not perfect
I had been wanting a solution to use my nicer legacy home stereo with my wireless device. Enter the Hosa Receiver. This works well enough but pairing is a bit fiddly and often doesn't pair up on the first try. And when un-pairing, and the device goes to sleep and eventually shuts off, there are a series of nasty pops that make you cringe, so beast to turn the volume down on your receiver first. While in use, it does great.

This is my second one
My digital recording collection is on my phone. More than 150 albums I've loved across the decades. Sometimes I just want to hear what I want to hear and when I do, it's easy to hook up my phone to this bluetooth audio receiver and play it through my stereo system, either here or at college.

One of the best Ive found.
I use these to play music from my iPhone on audio devices that dont have Bluetooth capability. Pairs easily, no dropouts and good fidelity. Ive tried some other, less expensive units and these are awesome. Worth every penny. Purchasing from B&H is always a pleasure.

Adds Bluetooth to my 2006 car
This works great. Its been over a week, I use it every day so that I can stream Bluetooth over the old car radio (which does have an aux input). Havent had to recharge the battery yet. Just be sure to stop/pause streaming service when you walk away from the car.

Not suitable for music/audio
Device works ok but the Bluetooth connection is mono and 8Hz or maybe 16Hz. Absolutely useless for music. Also would be nice if it detected power when turning the car on but it doesnt so you have to manually turn it on and off each time you drive.

Easy!
Paired with my Samsung phone almost immediately out of the box. Sound quality was very good. Surprised by the small size. I'd buy again.

Works great
Works great. Paired right up to my cell phone (where my record collection resides. Great addition to my sound system.

Works great but poor quality
The quality of construction is very poor. The middle button of my unit got stuck the first time I used it.
