Astonishing Sound Quality!
I've been using Sennheiser & ***** products professional & personally for nearly 20 years. These are far better than their competitor's most expensive set of In-Ear Headphones (which pretty much sell for the same price)! The balance and clarity of the sound is far better! When comparing the IE 800 S to a competitor's In-Ear, you can clearly hear how a competitor has higher Treble, when it's not supposed to.

Magnificent - must be heard to be believed
I waffled for a long time before deciding to spend this amount of $$ on a pair of in-ear headphones. Over the ear head[hones can have magnificent sound, but I can't stand them. If you are about the music - Get it and enjoy the music!
The headphones are very small , look like those free ones you get in sight-seen bus, but you are going to be surprised at a very first time you hear the sound those little babies produce. You will ask : HOW DID THEY DO THAT? If you are about the music, you need different music equipment for different situation - for home, for airplane, for subway those are for subway. You will need Complytips, and you will need something to drive those, I recommend Sony NW-WM1A Walkman. Plus , you will need to buy HR music files - thats not cheap Get it and enjoy the music, and ... Long live rock'N'roll !
