Audio-Technica ATH-ANC500BT Noise-Cancelling Headphones

Don't buy if you're working on an iMac.
Over the last 6 months, I've been figuring out ways to deal with these headphones. When the sound goes silence I receive this shrieking/glitchy sound effect...a loud static sound if you will. I have not found any help about this - even after disabling other bluetooth devices, I still have this problem. Bluetooth sound work on like half of these
Our company bought several of these for our team members and only about half actually play bluetooth audio. Audio-Technica's response was to just send them back. When plugged in, they do sound OK.

Audio quality 10. Noise Cancelling 6.
I really wanted to like these active noise cancelling headphones. Ive seen this brand listed along with some other names that I recognize. In addition to that, its listed on B&H and Ive been trusting them with my A/V choices since 2009. I thought Id try out a new product thats fresh on the market. I was a little disappointed.
