High End in Small Package
This unit is so small you think it is a toy until you fly it. Great video and long fly time. The return to home feature is AWESOME. Instructions do suck so just go to the website and watch the videos and you will be a pro in no time. I purchased the full kit with 3 batteries and carrying case and it was worth every extra penny! I will own two of these very soon my current unit needs a friend to be flying with it.

Fantastic kit
My first drone was an original model Phantom from DJI. It was great, but tough to fly sometimes. This little drone is light years ahead of that Phantoms technology. The auto takeoff and land options are fantastic. It does a great job of watching out for objects on its on too. This kit is a great setup for a great price as well. It has plenty of battery power, blade guards, a carrying case. Just add a memory card.

Not what you think
Wait to purchase this drone until they update the flysafe app if you live in a metropolitan area. If you hit a restricted zone your craft will land immediately. Since there are several airports in my area I can't even practice in my yard. Took it to the local park and it hit a restricted zone and Force landed in the river. Guess I am out a few bucks this month that I could have spent on a camera lens instead.

Super compact
I have had a Phantom 4 for several years and love it, but sometimes it's just too big. The Mavic Mini is the solution to that problem! It also has a few new tricks that the Phantom series doesn't. It's designed for easy flight and as a photography platform. The batteries charged in no time and I was off and flying. The propeller cages allow anyone to get started without the fear of damaging your new drone.

Perfect Drone at This Price
This is my first drone ever, but when I fly the Mavic Mini, I dont feel like a beginner. It has everything that I would want (except for obstacle avoidance). I use it recreationally on vacations and Ive gotten some beautiful images. Im not a pro user, so I dont feel like Im missing out on 4K recording, advanced image controls, or a more advanced transmission system. For $400 flat, I have zero complaints.

Easy to Use
This drone package is so easy to use. First, the drone is amazingly effortless to fly and with a little practice, anyone (even myself) can become a reasonably competent operator. The app is also very painless to navigate including the editing portion. The picture quality is OK. It's not great, but it's more than good for social media and such. I highly recommend this package for serious beginners.

Pretty neat!
My wife loves this thing! Did not see that coming. Neither of us have ever flown a drone, and didn't know what to expect. She got into it immediately and we found out she likes being a drone pilot! I've always loved R/C cars and she never had any exposure or interest in things like that, it was just really fun to see her get into something like this so quickly and in such a positive way.

Affordable and VERY powerful D
It's been one of the best technology purchases I have made in the past decade. It's truly incredible how intelligent and well-performing this drone is at its size. This is my first real drone, and I think it's an excellent way to get started in this hobby. I would highly recommend not only this drone but the fly more combo allowing you to continuously fly with multiple batteries.

quality control
the package arrived in record time, much earlier than expected. then after wrestling with how to get it activated, an hour with phone tech support realized it needed to update the firmware. now it works great. wish it was ready to go from the start. still very happy to have it. its fairly quiet and holds a steady position and turning in tight spaces is responsive.

Very Easy to Fly
This drone is perfect for the beginner, its very easy to set up and get airborne. There are many videos to guide you through from unpacking to camera settings. It is quiet compared to my P3 and maneuvers very quickly. You can take off and land it anywhere there is a sq ft clear area. The Fly More Combo gives you about 90 minutes of fight time. Love this drone!

Just buy it!
A fun companion for my Inspire Pro! Try it with a 1000 nit display One Plus 7T cell phone for your monitor..... A snap to set up, now able to unlock zones, I registered it to be legal (Part 107 license holder). Used Airmap the other day to request FAA approval, seemed silly but it's the law. No need to go to jail or pay a $250,000 fine :

Great beginners drone
This is my favorite purchase in a long time. I've never operated a drone before and the mavic mini is a great drone to start with. The controls are easily navigable, image and video quality are amazing for such a small sensor. The fly more combo is a must have, the battery life is long, but with 2 extras you can fly that much more.

Winner, Best Gift of the Year
Everything about the Mavic Mini looks and feels high quality materials and thoughtful design. Above all, it performs flawlessly. The unit itself gives much bang for the buck, and the Fly More combo is also a solid value. Don't think twice about it, you know you want one! (unless you want a zoom lens, then look further up the line).

Recreational use but loving it
Bought this as a christmas present for my 14yrs old, or so I keep telling myself as I fly it. Definitely recreational use and our first real drone. This thing is amazing. Easy to fly, great video and photo capability. Definitely catching the drone bug and already dreaming of warmer weather and cool places to go and video

Worth every penny of it.
This is my first drone, it well exceeded my expectations, in terms of long range, low noise, smooth and high video quality... Please note, if following is critically important for you, don't buy. 1. This drone does not have Active Tracking. 2. This drone does not have 4K video mode, it's up to 2.7K. Otherwise, buy it.

Test Flight Scored 100
Not wanting to crash or lose my drone on its first outdoors flight, I had a certified Navy Recon Drone Operator to check it out. He gave me a few tips and gave the drone Five Stars. For the price and what I will be using it for, I have no regrets. My photo: my first flight was indoors = 5 stars = No crash and burn ;-)

Ecstatic
Having owned a lesser priced drone Im thrilled with my Mavic mini. This drone is so easy to fly. Take off to the height you want and let go. It will hover in place. The other drone you constantly had to keep it in place. Even on a fairly windy day the Mavic mini has no issues. The camera is so stable even in the wind.

Battery malfunction - never left the ground
So disappointed in this drone - it was supposed to be a Christmas gift, but the battery immediately malfunctioned and won't accept a charge after performing a firmware update. You can search for Mavic Mini Battery Error Code 30074 and you'll see all the others with the exact same problem. Sad and inept product.

A good first or spare drone
The DJI Mavic Mini is my first drone. I find it easy to fly. It has the basic functions and the DJI Fly app is not overwhelming. I'm already considering buying drones with more features. I will keep the Mini for a spare. I can take it anywhere and it can be deployed without unloading a trunkful of stuff.

Great first drone
Mavic Mini is my first foray into drones. I was not disappointed by anything with the product with the exception of the instructions being a bit too primitive. B&h shipped lightning fast and had the right price to boot. Overall, this drone will serve the beginner well as this beginner has come to find.

Fun Fun Fun
Ive wanted a drone for some time. But I didnt want to spend much on something I didnt use often for filmmaking. Also I didnt want a cheap drone that doesnt perform well. So the Mini is perfect for me. Good quality and relatively inexpensive. It has also been simple to learn how to fly. Lots of fun.

Works greateasy to use
This is my first drone, and Ive been amazed at how easy it is to fly. It takes good footage and pics, especially in good light. But I took some pics and video at dusk and it looked pretty good toojust a little grainy when blown up for print. Very satisfied. And B&H had it here the next day.

Worthy Update for the Spark
This drone is excellent for beginners and will satisfy most pro flyers. Much better battery life and folding arms make this the perfect drone for traveling and local zooming around. Do practice with a drone flight sim and please fly responsibly I will treasure this new toy for a long time

Great little drone
This is my first drone and it is wonderful. The battery life is great, it's very stable even in light wind, the camera is great in video and photo mode, very stable imagery. It's very easy to fly and to learn to fly. Overall is a great drone and has done everything I wanted it to do.
