good for someone on budget
I like it, fits right on my desk, I can easily switch it off and not worry if its still running, and since i use a lot of apps that require a mic, this was great in a pinch (friends that i speak to notice the quality of the audio and that it could be a bit better, but that's what you get for a 20$ mic, but it works)

Works fine - would recommend
This is great for Skype meetings - much better than the built in microphones on my Mac Book Pro and MacBook Air. The power pilot light is on the USB cord. But there is not an illuminated indication on the base of the microphone defining when the microphone is actually turned on. The volume is adjustable.

Bad For VoIP
If you touch this while on a call it will be very noisy - that includes the volume or on/off switch. You cannot mute yourself on the device without loud sounds of the dial or switch being shared with everyone on the call. Feedback continues until a few seconds after you let go of it. Poor design.

table top mic
not bad for straight simple meeting audio, fairly sensitive Omni pattern, even works ok as a single conference table mic for casual calls, only worry is itself gooseneck over time getting loose- I would prefer less play in its adjustment

Disappointed
I've yet to find a good USB mic; even with it's adjustments toned down, this mic seemed overly sensitive, and pops and hisses were prevalent (from the over sensitivity). There was also a high-pitched hum in all of my recordings.

Not good for me
We bought several of these, and they all produce an annoying high frequency in the audio track. There is also an issue where we get scratchy audio and have to restart the program to eliminate that problem. Do not recommend.

can't be beat for the price.
I purchased this item for my daughter in college who needed a good mic to interview pre-schoolers with her laptop taking the information. The children don't have to touch the mic making the event much easier.

Simple
Simply plug it in, select it as your audio input device and you're set to go, now take that in combination with decent audio and great low price, it will be a purchase you take pride in

Speak right up!
Use this mike to give commands to my pic. Using Windows 10 and it's voice commands makes getting information and searching so much easier. The more I use it, the more I like using it.

Perfect for presentations!
I bought this product to make narrations for work PowerPoint presentations. The quality and sound is perfect. It's not expensive either which is nice.

Not the best
Don't get it if you want to record something very well, that you are planning to sell professionally etc. but it is good for skype etc.
