has some quirks
I bought these because they were on sale. They aren't bad but they do have some quirks which is why I gave them a three. Firstly the sound seems decent on these to my ears. They also have some very nice touches like the magnetic buds that stick together. I am mainly using them to listen to podcasts while I am out walking and doing chores around the house where cords might get caught but do sometimes listen to music. My first complaint is a common... Always a classic for developing Black and White films
Kodak's D-76 is widely know as the BW developer for 99% of your needs. It's my goto for almost every film, second only to Adonal or Dektol if I want more grain or more contrast. It's easy to mix up, I suggest you do it a day before you are going to use it since you have to get the water pretty warm to mix it, it needs time to cool and it needs time to meld and become one. Once mixed, it's super easy to use straight, 1:1, 1:3, etc to your preferen... Show More

The first Beats I considered buying, and I did.
Okay, first of all, we all know Beats for its high priced not-great sounding earphones/headphones. When these came out and I saw a bunch of YouTube videos on them and I actually considered getting them, and I did. I got them with on of the wires out of place, but pretty sure of the bumpy shipping from DHL. They sound different than from the other Beats product. Little bass, not in-your-face bass like the other ones I tried at a store. They are de... Show More

Good, but could still use some improvement
My husband purchased these wireless headphones for my birthday. I like to listen to music while I'm working and when I'm out walking. I have been using them for 3 weeks and have the following observations: Pros: 1. The actual earpieces have magnets in them which is great for making sure they don't get lost if and when you need to remove them from your ears (but while they are still around your neck) 2. Multiple sized earpieces are included. I hav... Show More

Excellent wireless earbud for the price
Sound : For my ears; 1).Bass is far enough. Also high / mid and lows are very well balance. 2).stereo separation is excellent. 3).Sound is very comfortable for ears. So for long time listening most suitable. 4).instrument separation and depth of sound is slight poor. Hence sometimes feel that slightly less musicality.( if you are not an audiophile don't care .....for this price range we cant expect more than this) Sound is far better than and exc... Show More

Extremely convenient and worth it!
These earphones are great overall. There's a bunch of different sized ear pieces to fit any sized ears. I chose not to use those wing tips. They're nice and soft and fit well, but it started to hurt the bump right above my ear canal when on for a long period of time. I don't know if it's because I have weird ears or not. But even without the wing tips, they still stay in my ears. I used them running and they don't jump around much and they never ... Show More

not so great a product
As I am accustomed to great Apple products and support, this particular Bluetooth wireless headset did not quite even come close to meeting those expectations. They were only OK for audio quality and features. Theyd get a 3 star for that. I purchased it in March 2017, used it only a few times a month and it failed in April 2018, 1 month short of my ability have Apple fix it for free. In that period of time the price drop $20. I never got the unit... Show More

This the one to own
Since I got my Iphone 7 I am looking for earphone that fits my need. I bought 3 or 4 wired and bluetooth. I bought this one telling myself lets try the beats X since it is suppose to be made for the Iphone. The first connection is so easy that I could not believe it, you switch on the headphone and then appear a window asking you if you want to connect the headphone to your phone and that' it. It comes with four different ear adapters and two kin... Show More

Very Impressive
Not quite a perfect 5-star product, but very VERY close. This is my first pair of wireless earbuds. I already own the Bose QC35 but needed something lighter and more discreet for walking/jogging and the Beats X are excellent for this - Great for traveling too as I've just experienced. The range on these is surprisingly far as well, audio quality is about where you'd expect, if not slightly better. PROS: Comfortable, back of each earbud is magneti... Show More

Lasted a little longer than my Powerbeats 3.
Good for audio books, though not great for music. I purchased these for my son and they lasted a couple of weeks. I ended up getting him theBose SoundSport Wireless which were much better (though he eventually broke those as well). I've had a go with the BeatsX myself from another vendor before giving up and going with the Bose. I had problems connecting the BeatsX and often they just wouldn't turn on. They don't work at all now, though did laste... Show More

Average sound, great functionality
I thought the sound was average to below average. I've been using a standard samsung wired headphone that come w/ the Galaxy S7, and Beats don't even come close in terms of mids and lows. I have mine paired to an Android phone so might sound a lot different on an Iphone. Some people complained about the length being too long. I thought it was just about right. Any shorter the controls would be resting on your face/head. Love the semi flexible nec... Show More

Great Earbuds!
First of all, don't let anyone tell you that these are expensive earbuds with poor sound and construction. These are actually priced mid-range to budget if you wait for them to go on sale. If you want expensive luxury earbuds, I suggest looking at Klipsch or B&O. But I digress. These are some of the best earbuds I've used. Unlike Beats' typical over heavy bass, these are well balanced and retain clear mids and highs. They hang very comfortabl... Show More

As essential as a microphone.
How many times have you said, wait, before we go outside, I need to put on the blimp. Give me five minutes. Turn that five minutes into 12 seconds. Of course, it's not a full suspension system, but, if you do a lot of documentary like me, you're going to wish you always had this handy. I don't know that I've ever not used it on a professional shoot. Ever. It's as essential as the mic to me. Also, cinematographers love to have a camera mic... some... Show More

Stay Away from BeatsX
The sound quality is OK, not great. The "just works" pairing with iOS devices is not really true. You have to hold down the power button for 5 seconds to initiate pairing each and every time, not really any better than any other Bluetooth device. And after all that power button pressing, they died in 3 months. Power button is non-responsive and no reset procedure will save them. Excellent for mounting GoPros to anything larger
This mount is pretty big, so it can attack to pretty much anything larger tube wise or similar. I also like the easy to use rotating head connector which allows you to aim your camera in any direction with click stops at certain points to keep it in place. It's pretty tight when rotating so you can get away with using in between spots too. My only complaint is that it should have had a means to connect an adapter to aim the camera at a different ... Expensive, essential piece for streamlined meta-data entry
I've used this little guy for about 100 shoot days now and wow. Initially, I believed it was way too expensive for just being a bluetooth device, however, slating, monitoring and the metadata entry are unbelievably handy. I have never had so many sound reports receive so many good comments nor received so many glaring, thank yous, for generating a solid, clear sound report and track list. Updated the firmware, as some people online suggested trying: Nothing. Charged again: Nothing. Did a "reset" holding down power and volume button: Nothing. I tried a few BT ear but type headphones. I used the nose soubdsport, beats X, the v-moda and the JBL. I use only wingtip buds because the traditional iPod style doesn't stay in at all. Bose sounded the best but fell out the most- especially when running. Also the cord is very sticky and would grab my neck and pull buds out. I think it should be an inch longer. BEATSX EARBUDS
Works fine right out of the box. First, I charged it up. Then ran the Bluetooth hook up to an android tablet with immediate connect; then linked it to a Windows 10 phone with immediate connect. The sound quality is very good on both tablet and phone. I have not used the microphone on either. Very compact; notably smaller than the PowerBeats and the Studio Wireless by Dr. Dre. Very convenient to carry. I recommend the B&H recommended Mophie 1400mAhave compact travel case to replace the smaller one that comes with either the BeatsX or the PowerBeats. It also keeps the Beats fully charged.

i like them enough that after losing my first pair i bought another. if you can score them for $70-100 i think they are acceptable. not the loudest or most bass sound on phone calls is pretty good recharge quickly small and lightweight easy to pair i get about 6 hours of continuous play at max volume so they may not be the best for most people but they work well for me. i like the form factor a lot so like i said this is my 2nd pair. i havent had any sound or mechanical issues with them. had my first pair for 6 months. used daily

Great Bluetooth headset
These are a fantastic Bluetooth headset for someone on the go. They shut out all other sound very well with the silicon ear tips. The battery life is so long I haven't run them down yet. They sit securely without any need for the wings that are included. And they are small enough to actually hide in your collar if you don't want to look like a complete tool, unlike an LG headset. The only downsides are the carrying case is utterly useless and some of the time when moving around you'll get noise through the wire from the headset moving around against your collar.
